    I was wondering if there were any peptides that would help with Keratosis pilaris on the back / arms?

    My rat has looked into KLOW/GLOW stack etc, but i dont think those would help with this. Thoughts?

      A long shot but your rat could look into TP508, very niche.

        @iMemphis18 You could try subq GHK-CU, but I would try topical first as it's known to help with this issue.

        Thats an inflammatory skin condition, so now that I'm thinking about it add a cycle of KPV or GHK-CU / KPV blend.

        You got options here to test or just run it all.

          That can be addressed topically. Look at glycolic or salicylic toners and body lotions. Daily exfoliating with a Korean wash cloth keeps it away once corrected with topical. Start with red and work your way to blue.

          Peptides are only as good as your Bac Water

            @MyB

            Physical abrasion is temporary and painful.

            Pores become blocked by keratin plugs, the skin is overproducing.

            If you constantly use acids to dissolve them away, you will have to keep it up daily, and you will be sensitive to sunburn way easier.

                @gym.rat I've been using the KLOW stack for a couple weeks, hopefully it helps!

                  ? You can choose to receive my words however you want buddy.

                  I’ve used lactic acids and scrubbing for KP, and I have scars to show that is not helpful for my skin.

                    @iMemphis18

                    My research baby has dealt with KP since birth. Typical treatments like exfoliating and using moisturizers with salicylic acid or urea didnt help at all. Most drs seem to say it is a overproduction of keratin but more recently studies are pointing to issues with skin barrier and systemic inflammation. Since her other issues revolve around autoimmune and inflammation, I decided to investigate peptides that address skin barrier repair, immunity and inflammation. The most effective so far for her has been LL-37 which is an antimicrobial peptide (AMP). We also do cycles of SS-31 for mitochondrial repair, TA1 & thymulin for immune issues, and TB500,BPC157 & KPV to help reduce inflammation. Skin products with ceramides are also helpful in maintain moisture and tightening the skin to reduce outbreaks. We stopped all exfoliating since that can make KP worse by inflaming the area further and possibly introducing infection.

                    Another peptide route that is being studied is hBD-1, hBD2, (human beta-defensin 1 & 2) which is also a prominent AMP and looks promising from research but I havent been able to source it so far.
