    Anyone researched this via SubQ?

    If so,
I’m curious what your experience was?

I just finished a cycle. Ran it along with LL – 37. Intent was to relieve allergy symptoms as the season rolls around here. I would say it has helped out.

@mfadden99 Thank you, any dizziness, flushing or nausea the literature mentions?

I’ve been trying to read as much as I can about VIP not for me but for an elderly (80+) relative with severe COPD/emphysema - has anyone here researched it along those lines?
Not looking for a cure but even a small % relief/improvement in her case would be worthwhile.

@statieeight I found a study you may find helpful if you haven’t already read it

              https://cdn.prod-carehubs.net/n1/748e8fe697af5de8/uploads/2025/05/Current-Research-and-Future-Potential.pdf

Here’s what it says about who should avoid using it:

Pregnant or breastfeeding individuals, those with severe liver or kidney conditions, low blood pressure, cardiovascular instability, or allergies to peptides should avoid VIP peptide therapy. Always consult a healthcare provider before starting any new treatment

Ta - yeh I’ve read that one but thanks anyway 👍

She’s definitely not pregnant anyway 🤣

Maybe get just have to bite the bullet and buy & research on my own rather than 1st before I give it to hers - if mine dies - well 🤷‍♂️

I have been looking into VIP (vasoactive intestinal peptide) and ran across some limited data, even less on subcutaneous/Injectable protocols. You may have seen this already.

You’d need more than a peptide in this case I think 🤣🤣🤣

Started VIP about 6 month ago for my research baby. Amazing results from day one. I was interested in the effects on problems from former stroke and current ongoing autoimmune encephalitis disorder with chronic gut biome issues including poor intestinal motility and constipation, debilitating ocd, anxiety and sensory issues. There are more and more studies though that show the gut and brain are interconnected through the gut-brain axis and the vagus nerve, and that gut health is linked to anxiety, depression and other mental issues. In fact, the gut's enteric nervous system is often called the "second brain". Research shows that the gut produces many of the same brain neurotransmitters and about 95% of the body's serotonin, a key neurotransmitter for mood, which is why gut health is so closely tied to mental well-being.

We began with VIP at 200 mcg subQ daily. She did have pretty intense facial and body flushing for about 20 minutes post injections but it it didnt cause any discomfort or other symptoms. Within a week, her anxiety and and sensory problems were 70-80% improved. OCD issues were almost negligible. Bowel habits are improving as well with only an occasional need for laxatives. We switched to try nasal spray administration about 2 months ago and it appears to work just as well and there is no facial/body flushing.

VIP is regarded as a potent anti-inflammatory peptide that also acts as a neurotransmitter and has widespread functions in the body, including regulating digestive secretions and blood flow, and modulating the immune system. In our experience so far it has lived up to the hype!

@WisGal64 Just finished my first week of research with VIP. Effects were very mild, only light flushing similar to a weak niacin flush, with zero dizziness or nausea. No ISR or sting. I used 0.2 mg subQ. Planning a 12-week cycle focused on VIP’s cardiovascular benefits.

Researchers suggest to use it 5-10 minutes before other peptides (like Ipamorelin, Humanin or MOTS-C) to increase their effectiveness. VIP half-life in blood is very short (1-2 minutes), but it dilates the vessels and improves the absorption of other compounds.
