Swollen ankles- side effect?
-
I don't know how long it's been between starting each of the last three peps added, but you might want to consider removing them, last one first and so on, until you get back to the original 3. I don't know how you can begin to tell which one, or ones, are causing the problem. Another consideration is if your climate has been undergoing an unusual heat wave of late, that can exacerbate swelling of ankles; not cause, but magnify. Just a thought. I live on TX Gulf Coast and I will not be starting Tesamorelin until Fall; I just can't fight 100 degree heat with almost same humidity.

Is she using an electrolyte solution? I used one hyped on insta and gained 5lbs of water weight in 5 days.

My rat has researched all of these compounds with no swelling of the ankles. The only time I experienced swelling of the ankles in my optimization journey with my rat is when I started TRT.@mfadden99 ahhh, thank you! That might be the culprit. Did it resolve over time?

What were your IGF-1 lab markers at? Swollen ankles is a very common side effect of excessively high GH levels. Any tingling feelings in the hands?
What's your blood pressure? What dosage of Sermorelin are you using?
@Neil-McCauley IGF-1 has been retested 3 times, and still well below average for age. No tingling. BP normal—all labs normal or low. Low on omega, zinc, D, ferritin, IGF-1, and hormone levels. Primary blames weight loss. Due to tirzepatide success, ankles have been especially defined. If not for the weight loss I might have missed the recent increase in poofiness. Working on deficiencies, but want to solve this new issue.

@Neil-McCauley Agree with you here. I've read a lot about Sermorelin being the worst of the GH peps and having side effects. Get your lab markers done and if GH is low switch over to CJC no DAC / IPA.
@gym.rat I thought it was cjc due to the anaphalaxis reports.
Ive Researched them all. The lowest side effect profile was actual GH. Ill be researching 2-3iu daily indefinitely.
Back to the original question I'd first want to know your source as I never assume someone is researching what they think. Likely its the sermorelin.

Awesome you're working with a primary. They will be of great resource when it comes to basic, simple everyday things like this. Sure many won't know squat in terms of advanced anti aging protocols and peptides, but when you run into issues like these they are a godsend in terms of finding solutions.
You should drop each peptide that you've added on recently one by one newest to oldest and see which one was the offender. If that doesn't work and you're continuing to see issues with fluid retention I would make an appointment with your GP and just be open and honest about what you're doing. They see people all the time who are using all sorts of drugs both prescribed and a whole heck of a lot who aren't, it's not like they're going to call the authorities because you're researching a few peptides, they deal with people using off script drugs like opiates, methamphetamines and all sorts of things.
I wouldn't panic or worry, but I also wouldn't let this slide and totally ignore it either.

@Randy it's a known potential side effect for any of the GH secretagogues. That said, in my research it seems way more common on Sermorelin and CJC / IPA is considered the best of this category. I'm personally on CJC / IPA and my only symptom is a welt for a few hours and some random on / off burning for the first 30 minutes that is like a 3 on the pain scale. That's my 2 cents.

@everlyashby
Yes it did. It was a short term side effect. Maybe two weeks.
