MOTS-c reaction….strange
-
Luckily, it never gave me that histamine reaction. And I was doing 5mg every MWF.
-
I am switching back to the 3X a week, 3.33mg each. It's so odd to me that that didn't trigger a reaction, but daily 1.5mg did.
-
Let us know if going back to the larger doeses eliminates the itch/welts!!! Id'd be curious.
-
My RS takes a Zertec the night before MOTS and has had no more than a dime sized red spot on 2mg. Red spot gone with in 2 hours.

I will pin again on Wednesday and will let you know!

I researched 1mg a day for about 50 days, and I liked it a lot. Great energy and exercise capacity. I did have an overlap with NAD+ but didn’t notice much difference with or without it. Energy availability probably wasn’t a problem.

Oh my goodness, I was just about to type a post about this… I was researching 5mg every 3 days (2/3 times a week) my first two 10mg vials, all good no problem, no reaction. So, I thought I’d buy a higher concentration 40mg, diluted with 2ml BAC water - what the hell! Huge itchy welts, which have lasted a week so far! I was so worried, I thought I might have to see a medical professional. But, I think they’re calming down, phew. I just don’t understand why this happened. It’s either the following:
- Poor quality peptide, although the supplier claims to third party test - COA was Janoshik, which I checked direct with Janoshik.
- Higher concentration
- BAC water, although I used a new bottle of Hospira
- If this is my genuine reaction to MOTS-C, we’re the first two vials MOTS-C?!
What are people’s thoughts? Should I try a lower dose or will I just get smaller itchy welts?
Thanks for any advice

Sounds like it may be due to the higher concentration per ml of BAC water that may have done it for you. At least that is the variable that sticks out to me.
-
Alright, today I went back to my "normal" 3.33mg injection 3X per week. I skipped Monday. The welts from last week have subsided and it has been 2 hours since my pin today and......nothing so far!!

Hi @Shaqdiesel Yeah, that’s the conclusion I’ve come to, 100% a histamine response. After looking at chat rooms and YT, it seems my experience is quite common with MOTS-C. I’ll have to go back to 10mg vials.

@jackiew1 Hey, glad it worked out for you. How confusing though, you’d think you’d be fine with a lower dose daily.

Pinned the first dose into my subject today. The reaction is very similar to the SS31 reaction. Turns warm, itchy and red almost immediately. the area spreads out left to right on my stomach perhaps 1 to 1.5 inches. and then up and down half an inch or so. But within 1 hour its gone. AI says its most likely not even a histamine reaction but just a local cell reaction to the peptide itself.
But this was just the first pin which was a baby dose (0.5mg) at 10mg/3ml dilution.

The weird thing about mine is, I am fine taking 3.33mg three times per week. But taking 1.5mg every day caused a reaction, starting on the 5th day.

Instead of dropping dosage in my uniratosaur I doubled the bac water.
Instead of 25us it was still 5mg but at 50u this morning and I have no itching, swelling, space maggots spewing out, or any involuntary traversment of time to report at this hour. -

I’ve just heavily diluted mine too, fingers crossed
