Switching from reta (GLP3-r) to Nexaph tirz (glp2-2)
-
Our rats use booth, wife rat is reta (going from 1.5 to 3mg) and my rat is taking 5mg tirz and also low dose 1.5 reta twice per week, all from Nexpah. I must say my rat experienced the reta effects early such as the mild skin thing, and sleep issues. But started taking one histamine pill per day which mostly fixed the skin thing and started magnesium daily which was great for better sleep. But, I must say the side effects are lessoning over time.

I know from first hand experience Yep you can get the runs on Tirz for sure. Especially if you dose higher than you should. Like bad math when reconstituting or your vial(s) being over filled and not accounting for it. Ive taken both tirz and reta. I know so many people love reta. In my opinion its overhyped. Tirz is the way to go unless you want to or need to get rid of fatty liver rite now. Tirz will will do it it just takes longer. Anything that puts a person in a calorie deficit will decrease fatty liver.

I was doing Tirzepatide since the last August. I used official Zepbound and the standard schedule: 2.5mg, 5 mg, 7.5mg, 10mg, 12.5mg, 15mg once a week, going up every month. I only wanted to lose 30 lbs, being a little obese per BMI scale but having a good amount of muscles too.
In the first month, this 2.5mg weekly dose worked like a miracle. I completely lost appetite, couldn't even think about food, felt full after the first spoon. 5mg next month dose surprisingly didn't feel as radical anymore, and the third month 7.5mg was even less noticeable.
I did lose 20 lbs in the first 2.5 months. But since then my weight stayed the same, now I weight more than the past November. I kept pushing the dose up until at about 10mg I couldn't tolerate the side effects any more. To those sulfur burps added constipation, which was not an issue for me before. At the end I settled at the 7.5-9 mg dose, which I could tolerate at max.
But my weight staled, I didn't lose a pound consistently in 6 months being on Zepbound.
In April I brought down my dose to 2.5mg, then stopped it. And I started Retatrutide. Started with 0.5mg which didn't cause any observable effect, then 1mg, then 2mg, then to 2 mg two times a week. If I felt anything, it was very mild. I actually gained 5-10 lbs on it.
Then I switched to another supplier, used 2.5mg and all of the sudden felt a noticeable effect, like on my early Tirz dose. Today I switched again, now to Crush Research 2mg. We'll see what happens, I usually start feeling something in the next day.But the whole situation when these GLP-1 RA drugs have so little effect on me is strange and was not what I expected.

I stayed at the same dose until the next level is needed. 2.5mgx1week for the first 6 weeks, I started to think about food again THEN went to 5 and have been there since March. From 200lb.s to 165 a few days ago.
You're making me doublethink the plan of going Reta at the end of the year. Tirz is really better, eh?

@Stan-Douglas that's the schedule recommended by Eli Lilly. Start with 2.5mg/w, reevaluate monthly, if you can tolerate the side effects, add 2.5mg.
To me Tirz did not work as expected, as I extensively described above. Not sure what's to blame. I eat a very healthy and balanced diet, exercise vigorously 4 times a week, sleep well, etc. Trying Reta now, raising the dose. Hopefully it works better with less side effects.

Like most people, I started at 2.5 mg and titrated up every month until I reached 7.5 mg. I’ve stayed at that dose ever since because it’s working well and I’m experiencing little to no side effects. I began with name-brand Tirz, which destroyed my gut in the beginning, but my system seems to have adjusted now.
I’m researching 7.5 mg Tirz from Nexaph’s 30 mg vials, and the appetite suppression is fine. I always check the third-party testing results on TG for the batch because Nexaph has a habit of overfilling. I adjust my dose as needed sine a couple of extra milligrams can make a big difference with Tirz.

@Falc Where can I locate the TG groups for testing results?

@SoySebastian You can try. Third-Party Testing Discussion: https://t.me/+lCIrWsOVAiI4NWY5
You can also try Montana Peptide Private Testing:

My wife gets their glp2 and I get their glp3. She says it doesn’t seem as strong as other glp2 she had used. But the glp3 has been great for me.
@BayouBammer thanks for posting this!! I was considering getting their Reta. I love them for everything that I’ve tried so far!!

@celisaenz The Reta has been great! And she says the others have been working great. I have also been using their GHK-CU. Love it
