It looks like they've recently started moving to Kovera Labs for testing all their panels. I've ordered several times from them and my wife and I both use them. So far we've had nothing but good experiences.

I was reading about Kovera Labs on Meso-rx. They are in a shared workspace that doesn’t seem to be legitimate

        @Commander Main Concerns

Shared workspace / virtual address: Their listed location (Deerfield/Buffalo Grove, IL area, e.g., 570 Lake Cook Rd Suite 300 PMB) points to a coworking space or mailbox service rather than a proper equipped analytical lab. This is a common setup for low-overhead operations but raises doubts about having full HPLC, LC-MS, endotoxin, sterility, and heavy metals capabilities in-house.
"David Cohen" (Quality Director): The LinkedIn profile tied to them has been called out as potentially fake or AI-generated. No strong independent verification of credentials or a real lab team.
Ties to vendors: Reverse DNS and other checks by skeptics suggest the domain is linked to some peptide-selling sites. This fuels suspicions it's more of a "friendly" testing mill for vendors wanting quick, high-purity-looking COAs rather than a fully independent lab. Some note that vendors switching to them suddenly get suspiciously high results.
New and thin presence: Very young website, limited public info on staff/equipment/accreditation, and not much history. Scamadviser gives it a fair-but-not-great score mainly due to the newness.

Every coa I checked from Ion checked out on the third party lab website. I really like ILS and of course Jano is great. I am very skeptical of Kovera labs though.

Jumping in again -- I like Ion and their product portfolio. Usually everything I want can be found under one roof saving separate shipping costs. I also don't think Shay (the owner) is doing any cheating with COAs.

HOWEVER, I recently had a long back and forth with their customer support trying to just confirm the batch ID they were shipping for a product

The customer support went great lengths in trying to push me back on my simple question of current batch ID confirmation, saying they ship whichever is the "recent batch" which is ridiculous because as late as 2 months back their testing coverage was very different, which is technically "recent". Recent is also such a vague and subjective term.

I think now I fully understand why people got irked with their COA management especially if the customer support kept avoiding batch ID confirmation by just the rhetoric of "recent batch"

I got pretty pissed myself! I hope Shay gets the importance of transparency about current shipping batches, otherwise despite great product portfolio they might lose customers who care about testing and COAs than just prices.

@pep_researcher Interesting that I just had a similar conversation with biolongevity labs which positions itself as a high-end supplier. They don't even have a batch id on their vials even though they have multiple COAs with ids per product on their site. They rejected to provide me the id even when I asked them directly.

All those places get their stuff from grey market suppliers on Telegram. If you see a vendor who posts a COA without their label on the vial, it is because they we too cheap to do their own testing. EVEN IF their “company name” appears on the COA, it was because when you send in a vial for testing the test company will provide Multiple COA’s of the same vial with different names on it, usually for $30 more a COA.
I was involved in a group test for some products we bought from LN Peptides, a bunch of resellers came into the group and want us to offer the additional COA’s with their name on it. The person in charge of the group (at my urging) said, nope, one batch, one COA with one name on it…
Bottom line, if their label WITH batch number is not on the vial in the picture on the COA, don’t buy from them. Go get it from the place they are getting it for 25% of the price…

@vpeptides Is this the place that Trevor B is associated with? We already know that guy is a fraud. Randy pulled receipts on him.

@Commander biolongevity labs seems to be a major company with people like Jay Campbell behind and multiple lines of products, but they don't have batch #s on their vials to match to a particular COA they publish. It was disappointing. Also they claim to manufacture everything in USA.

@vpeptides Ion puts batch IDs on their vials and they do link to COAs. But their customer support folks are a bunch of morons. Or they just chase sales so much that they don't keep track of which batches their warehouse or 3PL center is shipping.

My main issue is they changed their testing coverage and labs so rapidly that I need a confirmation on what batch I'm getting and can't just take rhetoric "Oh they are all tested and good"!

I would hate to stop using Ion, but if they continue with this nonsense, I will look for other vendors.

Shay needs to clean this up to maintain credibility.

@vpeptides I don't mind Jay Campbell so much, but my god is he a salesman 100% of the time. Pretty sure I checked out his site some time ago and it was wildly expensive.

So it is really a simple question and a simple answer….
Why are there not batch numbers on the vials to match the COA’s… It is really a simple answer….
But what I find with message boards and Forums is that people want to believe certain things, so they defend them with stuff like you are saying. So think logically, who cars if Jay Csmpbell, Heather Locklear or Denise Richards is backing them (well if Heather Locklear or Denise Richards is backing them, I might have to buy some). They have a financial interest is say they are great.
It comes down to this. It is too easy to put the labels on them with batch numbers on them and send them for testing. If this was an “oversight” or they just didn’t think to do this, would you really trust that company. Maybe the tech operating the machine had a similar oversight and forgot to wash his hands after taking a shit and then went to handle the peptides you are buying from them.
I love excuses… everyone has 2 or 3. I guess it is the world we live in today.
