BAC water longevity

I just read that BAC water, after you break the seal you have about 28 days of use of it. I wanted to get peoples takes on this and experience people have with using BAC water and for what lengths of time.
As BAC water has risen in price and buy larger amounts if not used in time would be a waste of BAC.
