Total noob about to dive into research for an aging wabbit (don't like wats).

I found BAC Water for $20 for 30mL at IDUN Peptides which has no reviews as far as I can tell.

Shipping was free - only bought two 30mL vials at this point and arrived in 2 days.

As a starting point, seems like a decent source at least for the BAC water.

I was a little surprised the vials are plastic, but maybe this is common for the BAC water.

IDUN't think you got a good deal. I paid $15 each and bought 10 with free shipping. To verify if it is real hospira, there will be a little QR code on the metal cap. I'm sure others have gotten it cheaper. There are people on discord seeking it for $15 also. I don't think you get cheaper than that unless you buy a case.

With the current run on Hospira BAC water that’s actually a good price for Hospira/30. I’ve seen sites charging $25-30. Hospira has come in plastic bottles every time I’ve ordered it.

Ultimately, yes we’re in a bit of a panic mode over Hospira at the moment, but it lasts on the average of 10 reconstitutions, so paying between $2-$3 per recon is not too bad. Yes $1.50 is better but you’re fine.

Thanks, $15 for 30mL is really good compared to most of the vendors I have actually logged into from the directory. I don't expect to need a refill for a bit, but would you mind sharing the source?

One source mentioned on this forum is peptidetest. They have some restrictions but you may get it from there eventually.

@zotparkerm Make sure it has the hologram on the crimp tab. There is a lot of fake BAC water out there that looks just like Hispera. I bought one and had a bad reaction. Since then, I have been getting it from a buddy at a cosmetic clinic for $7. If you know anyone at a tattoo parlor or cosmetic clinic its very easy to get and it's dirt cheap. There is plenty of it. It's the banana in the tailpipe. The secondary market got hit with the usual hysteria of people hoarding it, not realizing it has an expiration date typically less than 12 months, and people bought cases of this stuff.

@Hammertime65 not sure if you know this but it’s only good until the expiration date which is 12 months so maybe 10 on you order. People don’t realize this and are hoarding it it’s not like peptides

                    @stevepep

While that is accurate, as far as the expiration date; I'd wager a fair amount of rat rations on the theory that, if un-oppened, the Hospira BAC water loses nothing even after 5 years.

                    Once pinned obviously, things change.

Our rats research bottles that specifically warn them about RUO on the label; I think keeping unopened BAC water past the expiration date is the of least concern. But of course, the good rule followers that we are, we should be safe. 😁

Ohh... and @zotparkerm, I also got it from peptidetest.com.

@Snake-Pepskin actually if you talk to a researcher the Benzyl alcohol degrades over time in the plastic container. Glass would be better. There is actually a reason they put an expiration date on it because eventually it’s just sterile water. Bottom line no need to hoard sterile water with benzyl alcohol in it. But we all want to believe what we want and stock up like me.we just can’t help ourselves lol I think it’s because peptide are so great. Thankfully we have this community

I think it was telegram someone tested Hospira bac water 6 months after its expiration and the benzl alcohol was at .4pct not enough to stop bacterial growth. The study showed at 24 months there was zero.

Huh, I never considered the plastic bottle to be a factor. Good point.

Completely agree on the hoarding. Like toilet paper during Covid.
