Which pen to buy
-
Thinking about trying out an injector pen. I know nothing about them though. Looking for a little help from the community in which direction I should go and if the use of them is self explanatory as far as getting them setup. Any help is appreciated.

Lots of videos - go to the Youtube channel or Community - Tutorials. I use a pen because I pass out with needles (always have) so it hides the physical needle while injecting.

I recently got the V2, V4, and Xulin Pen 3. The V2 and V4 are high quality and accurate. They feature a tip that hides the needle, if that appeals to you. The main difference between them is that the V4 is slightly longer than the V2.
The Xulin Pen 3 does not have a hidden-needle tip. Instead, it uses a traditional pen-style cap. It comes in a nice case with cutouts for extra needles and an additional cartridge.
The Xulin Pen 3 is very well made and is my personal favorite. I'm planning to order more Xulin Pen 3s before they sell out. Peptide Critic shipped my order fast and it was well packaged.

Awesome, thank yall for the insight, when I purchase a pen do I need to purchase anything else along with it?

I know I should buy some extra vials, do I need to find needles also?

@stevencarter I bought vials on AliExpress and needles too.

@stevencarter I get my vials from Pen-Depot and needles from diabetic warehouse or total diabetes supply. When you order the pens you only get the pen and sometimes a case depending on which pen you get. Bac water i get from farris labs.

Thank yall very much for the info, I got 10 extra vials from our hosts here but I didnt find the extra needles, i will follow up on the suggestions yall gave me to get the rest

Buy one of each right from the start. Because once you start using pens, you will want to try them all.
One Gansulin, One Xulin, One v3.5 or 4 or whatever v version they are up to. But do yourself a favor and skip Amazon and Etsy and those sites, you may think you are buying a v4 or something, but what you get will not be what you think. Then you will be posting asking other people about their v whatever but you will be comparing apples to oranges and you will go down a rabbit hole. Just like the people who buy Yeti tumblers on Amazon and complain about them and say their Walmart tumbler is better… -
Agree with @commander. I ordered a Xulin and V4. Ordered another V4 and V2 (for comparison) this week. I could have saved myself some shipping charges and wait time.

Exactly, that is why I said get one of each, shipping will kill you if you order them at different times. I don’t know if it is still available on this site, but the v1 was nice. I think the Xulin is supposed to be like a v1 on steroids. I had the Xulin before but only used it a week or so before my friend took it from me. I was just gifted another one by someone, so I am going to try it again. My friends take all my stuff

I've tried all the pens on here except the gansulin & v1. I like the v4s best but you can't go wrong with any that Jeff sells here. Plus at 60 units per pen they fit in some real nice cases I bought on ETSY. If you get the longer pens at 80 units - they don't fit the case - too long.

@Commander There were no V1's on the site when I ordered. The only one I didn't get was the 3.5 simply because it sounded like it was the same as the V4. Based on the description, I don't know what makes the 3.5 different. I just wish he would have had the plastic travel (non disposable) pens as an option.

I have V2s, a V4 and a Xulin. I reach for the Xulin the most, its mechanism is the smoothest, just need more than two colors.
-
So I received the injection pens I ordered from peptide critic. Took 3 days, which is much shorter than I expected so good job on that. I bought a V2, a V4, and a V3.5. They look cool. I have to do a little reading to make sure I understand how to set these up properly. Overall im very pleased with this purchase from peptide critic. From the community feedback and input to the simple ordering process and delivery, I really feel like this site can be called home for honest information and discussions about peptide research for my chupacabra. Want to say thank you to everyone who commented and helped me on my initial purchase and I can promise it wont be my last.

Go onto the peptidecritic YouTube channel & watch the videos specifically on pen - I think there are 3 or 4 different ones - if I had seen them before I started with pens I would’ve saved myself a lot of time & money.

@Nuncles IMO the v3.5 feels just a bit sturdier than the V4. V3.5 is a bit shorter. The clear piece screws on w/V3.5 instead of clicking into place on the V4 - this is a very subtle comment but one that is important to me and that is the clear plastic 3mL vial pc on the V4 clicks into place showing the scale of how much peptide is left right in line with the dial # which makes it easier reference for me. Mechanism is about the same. Can't go wrong with either but my personal preference is the V4.
BTW... also got some V2 pens for my wife because she likes the colors but I do not like those as well - they just feel "cheaper" to me. I do use Xulin for TRT (Blue) & Reta (Red) which are very classy pens - makes me feel special using those. But still through it all - my preference is the silver V4 - great great pen.

@matthewwalsh I appreciate the insight on the V3.5. I'm kind of glad I passed on it. Personally, I think I like the "click" better than the screw in vial holder. I wasn't that impressed with the V2 but the bar had already been set by the Xulin and V4. I feel that the V4 seems to be the sweet spot right now. Yes, the Xulin is smoother, but $20 smoother? Probably not. But hey, if one's budget is more in line with Mercedes than Toyota, get the Mercedes.
