So I received the injection pens I ordered from peptide critic. Took 3 days, which is much shorter than I expected so good job on that. I bought a V2, a V4, and a V3.5. They look cool. I have to do a little reading to make sure I understand how to set these up properly. Overall im very pleased with this purchase from peptide critic. From the community feedback and input to the simple ordering process and delivery, I really feel like this site can be called home for honest information and discussions about peptide research for my chupacabra. Want to say thank you to everyone who commented and helped me on my initial purchase and I can promise it wont be my last.

3.5 would be my favorite right now if I had to pick one, but all 3 are 100% better than insulin syringes

Now that I have a bunch of pens and multiples of each type, I find i am gravitating to specific ones that consistently run smoothly and consistently. At the moment, I am running a V1 and V2 that are flawless. One of my Gansulins is sluggish pushing peps across multiple carts. The other two seem fine. I don’t love the Xiulins if I am being honest. They seem ‘stickier’ than the other pens I have and can be hard to get started.

It might be good to make a video on maintaining and tweaking pens to keep them running smoothly. I have no reservations about taking a pen apart as long as I know how to put it back together.

I will order some V3/4’s when they are back in stock.

Please set a funny and sarcastic signature line. It brings me joy. Thank you for your attention in this matter.

@ResearchCat To me, the 4 is the best. I like the Zulin, but like you say, it's a harder push.

The way the pens are built once taken apart they cannot go back together.

So what can we expect a typical lifespan to be on pens?

Thx. That was my assumption, but I wasn’t sure. I have seen that tool to take them apart, but I have extensive experience disassembling things that cannot be re-assembled and you often don’t find out until it’s too late. 😉

The tool you are talking about doesn’t take them apart. It only unlocks a locked a gansulin/convi pen

Almost every pen that I looked at so far is pressed together in some way or another making it impossible to be taking apart with wrecking them. It just must be a cheaper way to assemble them.

Youre looking at the wrong pens. Even the ones on Amazon or AliExpress, which typically have a chrome band around the center, they separate into three pieces. The cap, the cartridge holder, and the injector unit.

I have ordered about 11 of them off AliExpress because they are cheap. Ive seen many complaints about them being unreliable, and I found a few of the V2 units that were indeed having issues. However by inserting a single small 3d printed part to add tension to the spring mechanism inside, they all run mint now.

@hunt_ak go to the research supplies section. My favorites are in there.

                              https://peptidecritic.com/tools/research-supplies

On the v4 if you want to use the hidden needle feature the fatter based models wont allow you to put the cap on and hide the needle. The ones in the research supplies will.

I have never hidden a needle though.

I have no idea what you are talking about by “you are looking at the wrong pens” I am talking about completely taking apart a pen to get to the internals. No shit you can take the cap off, the cartridge holder off.. you can be blind and see that. But you can’t take the pen completely apart to get to the internals. And the spacer so the clutch doesn’t slip, really, that is common knowledge and talked about everywhere.
So I really don’t understand what your post is saying, especially because it seems to be commenting on my post that is talking about completely dissembling a pen that is pressed together…

@commander its been my experience, taking apart a lot of old equipment when I worked for a restoration company, that pressed together parts generally tend to be one shot and done. I agree with you, I dont know if the intent was to not have anyone able to repair and put back together. It sure seems like it was though. Generally you have to fight so hard to get separation that sometimes you destroy whatever it is you are working on. The old saying of anything man built man can take apart is true, it that dont mean man will get that same piece of shit back together again without double sided tape or marine grade JB weld. I dont follow that dude either that does seem to be responding to your comment. I bet he used too much semax. I wanna make a Dihexa nose spray

I actually did take apart the pens. I had to cut them apart. Most are also plastic welded in certain spots..
But by all means take then apart (like I did) and post the pictures (like I did).
I would love to see some more pens apart and don’t have time right now to do it
