Maybe I'm just being paranoid, but so be it. Not sure this belongs under "Reviews" but they're asking for a bonafide copy of my DL and a selfie. I'm not giving them copies of my person info. I've not encountered this before and I don't like it. I suspect some vendors will go this route and have gone this route, which means I'll go the opposite way. Be prepared if you want to buy from them. No thanks, eros.

@Eleanor I completely agree with you! I quit buying from Eros when they stopped taking Zelle. The weird ID requesting pay vendor seemed very sketchy to me too. It's too bad because Eros had good product and quick service.

@Eleanor Are you doing an ACH transfer to pay them? Then it's not them it's the Plaid or some such internal plugin that's asking this to do your KYC because they are directly pulling funds from your bank account.

CC, Venmo, CashApp etc won't ask that. Some use crypto transfer plugins that do on the fly fiat on-ramp. They ask too. I wouldn't recommend uploading that info on a plugin. Else ask them for their account and routing number and say you will transfer the money from your end.

@pep_researcher No pep, I didn't pay them. Caught onto the scam. Hadn't even gotten to payment and they asked for drivers license and all kinds of nonsense.

Yep. They had reasonable prices too.
