Colonoscopy

I know, I know who wants to talk about this? It's the shits.

I have a 3 year follow up coming in July. Has anyone else had to get one while on peps? The only one I would think that would matter is my reta. I don't plan stopping MOTS or Tes/Ipa. Has anyone just kept pinning their GLP even when having a colonoscopy? If not, how long before having the procedure did you stop pinning?

It's a general anesthesia issue
Heres the AI answer
Because food and stomach acid stay in your digestive tract for a much longer time than normal, there is a high risk of pulmonary aspiration—where stomach contents flow backward and enter the lungs while you are unconscious. This can cause severe, life-threatening pneumonia -
Mine said stop glp1 2 weeks prior. I stopped one week prior and drank extra stool softener. When it was over I asked the dock if I was clean enough he said yep that why it only took 20 minutes. Im not suggesting you try it. I am saying that some Drs probably are for asking more time off of the glps because it easier than them actually having to learn much about them or come up with protocols to navigate around glps.
