Decided to add some Survodutide to my protocol. Now I do have some Reta, but since Survodutide has significantly stronger glucagon receptor activity than Reta, thought I’d give it a try. Also, I just started back taking Tirzepatide after two months off due to a mass in my neck which turned out to be a benign tumor, and I’m taking the lowest dose of the compounded Tirzepatide. So I wanted a little boost to restart my weight loss.

Also, I’m pretty sure I’ve perfected getting every single air bubble out of the 3mL pen cartridge. I’m sure I spend way to my time with that, but I do have some OCD tendencies so we’ll blame that. IMG_0872.jpeg IMG_0871.jpeg IMG_0870.jpeg

Same here. Can you give us your workflow of getting every air bubble out? I also have OCD tendencies like you, but still can't get them all out before I put them into my pens.

I love the labelling of the cartridge and how it keeps the pen clean of any stickers. I'm going to steal that idea right now.

@mrjoshua44 Good luck. I tried this by dropping T to 5mg only and gradually upping Survo. But didn't have much luck in moving the needle on the scale.

So now for the first time I'm going all in for the blockbuster GLP-3R. Waiting for the T and Survo vials to get done in another two weeks. 🤞

The way I remove the bubbles from the cart is that once I fill the cart, I insert it into the pen, then, holding the pen vertical(tip up, obviously), I re-insert the vent needle and slowly press through a few units at a time until all the air is gone.

Since I keep my pens cold, there are often a few bubbles that come back because of vacuum, but I don’t worry about it too much.

Please set a funny and sarcastic signature line. It brings me joy. Thank you for your attention in this matter.

Please keep us updated. My rat is on Tirz 5mg and low dose Reta at 1.50 for that glucagon hit. I was considering dropping reta for Survodutide for that same reason.

I'm doing 8 of Tirz on Thurs PM and 1 of Survo on Fri PM. By Sat. wake up time, I can definitely feel the Survo kick in. I did not know that Survo had larger glucagon cascade than Reta; do you have article or stats on that because I've always heard the opposite.

@Eleanor Sure! Here's a quote from the article and link.
"Survodutide showed better efficacy due to its more glucagon‐dominant dual‐agonist profile, which produces stronger thermogenic activation and greater increases in basal metabolic rate. In contrast, Mazdutide engages GLP‐1 and glucagon receptors in a more balanced manner, resulting in moderate thermogenesis with improved tolerability and more stable glycemic control."

@mrjoshua44 Nice article, thank you! Survo is undoubtedly causing my liver to cut loose with dumping sugar into my bloodstream. Think it's the reason for reflux, nausea, etc, that I don't and never did have on Tirz alone.
