Retatrutide cycle and dosing through cycle
-
Hi, I am barely getting into this and just ordered my first vials of reta from glacier aminos. Any recs on how long to cycle / dosing protocol ? Best time to take it? Should it be taken at the same time each time I inject? Thank you guys!

My rat started at 0.5mg of Reta for 3 weeks and then moved up to 1 mg. Start low. Go slow. Only go up if you feel the effects aren’t working as intended. My rat takes it every Thursday morning.

I started all the way up at 2mg per the trials. I went to 4 after 4 weeks and then 6 after 4 weeks. The 6mg didn't treat me well so after about 8 weeks I went back to 4. I stayed on 4 for 6 weeks and now just up to 5mg a week ago. I am still looking for the magic dose. I may get back to 6 after a month or 2. After all it is N=1 research.

Clinical trials started at 2mg- but no one should START at 2mg- start at 0.5 or 1mg at the most to see how your body reacts. You don't need to titrate up every 4 weeks because the trials did, you should only titrate up if you are having no effects after 4 weeks, no appetite suppression, no food noise quieted, no scale movement or measurement changes. And do it slow, you don't need to go up 2 or 4 mgs every time. Everyone is different so only go by your body and how you feel.

reta from glacier aminos
In April I got Reta from glacier aminos. I was on Tirz before, but I titrated it down and started on Reta slow. 0.5, 1, 1 x 2 a week until I finished it all. I had no effect whatsoever. My hunger returned, weight increased. Then I switched to another supplier, about the same dose and felt a colossal effect right away. So I have to titrate it down now.
But that could be a bad batch from glacier and I think it was Kovera Labs COA and a suspicious HPLC chart, which was okayed by the lab. I hope you have a better luck but I avoid glacier aminos since that time. -
Started 5 months ago, @1 first week, then 2 for a month, increased all the way up to 8 last week over time, 8 weeks seems to of slow down my digestive system to much, had to force myself to eat and even then half of it came back up. take it slow do your own research! dropping down to 4 next week to get some kind of appetite back!

@Peptide-geek Agree start at .5 and titrate up. You can do .5mg. If it is all clear of allergy or any possible reaction you can add another .5 in 2-3 day. Totally 1mg for the week. If you are doing well stay there. That is the sweet spot to most. Sweet spot should feel like this.
- Hungry enough to get your proteins and micro nutrients in but fill up quick. You need to preserve muscle and bio functions.
- You impulsive food noise down to none at all.
- All while burning fat 24/7 mainly with your liver and more if you exercise or just move beyond your comfort zone. A total metabolic reset.
Be patient. 1-2lb a week is good. All while you're creating a new foundation for your health. Tune your diet, exercise get to know your biology. Reta does way more then weight loss. The stack is balanced enough to dial/titrate all three at ones. Find what works for you. Here more mg isn't better.

No need to cycle GLPs. Once you hit your goal weight, just titrate down to 0.5-1mg per week and either quit or stay on it indefinitely. That's what I'm doing, and the added insulin sensitivity will set you up for a good transition into a lean bulk (if that's what you're doing).

I think most of these questions you will answer for yourself moving forward. Time of day. Once a week. Twice a week. This is the good part of research and not a 1 size fits all approach. I absolutely agree with everyone that slow and steady is the way to go. Only increase if you need to. We didnt get any information about you and if you have tried any other peps. For me I had been on Tirz which hammered my hunger and led to unhealthy weight loss. Reta allows me meet my protein and calorie goals without over eating and get the 1 to 1.5 pound weight loss a week that I am looking for. The visceral fat reduction on Reta has been amazing and the recomp is real. Welcome and good luck. Always here to help.

I don’t have any research rats, pretend stuffed animals or imaginary friends that take peptides…
But, I started Reta at 1mg a week, and after two weeks went to 2mg a week. I was only looking to go from 190lbs down to 175lbs. Mostly visceral fat (I also take Tesa/Ipa, Mots-C, NAD and KLOW). So I wasn’t looking to loose a lot of weight. What you go up to depends on how much weight you want to loose and how fast. My friend (not imaginary) is trying to go from 300 down 190. He started at 1mg a week and is now at 6mg a week.
So it really depends on the person’s individual goals and how their body reacts to Reta. -
I started at 2 and worked up +2 every 4 weeks. So 2 4 6 8 10. I only took longer some doses if i ran into sides.
