@abemedina There is a lot more to it. It's not all the same thing. Some get raw materials and complete the process in the US. Some source from CGMP facilities; some don't. The best way to distinguish, as we sit here today, IMO, is based on the lab they use for testing. If you see Vanguard, Janoshik, or AFI those are time tested, trusted labs, and they are paying top dollar for testing. Its not a complete fail safe but gets you much closer to quality products. This is subject to change as some of these lab issues get sorted out. Searching for the lowest price may work out, and it also may not. Its a matter of preference and risk tolerance. I use two vendors primarily now. They both have established records, complete the process in the US (without getting technical), and use Janoshik for full panel testing. That checks my boxes.

For example, Studz, has great pricing; the owner seems great as well, but they use a lab that is brand new and there are some telltale signs on the lab reports themselves that tell me to stay away until they get testing that I feel is reliable. The price may go up though, as the lab they use is 1/3 the price of the 3 I named above.

For the vendors you mentioned above. Mile High is a very good trusted vendor. I don't buy from them anymore because they use Kovera on some products, ILS and Freedom on others and I am risk averse. I am sitting on vials of Kesspepin from them because the testing was done at Kovera. EZ on the other hand is essentially Nexaph, who one could argue is the most reliable vendor and they test with Janoshik and send multiple vials for testing and then, on top of that, pay for third party testing. They check WAY more boxes when it comes to getting what you paid for in the vial then just about every other vendor. There are other very good ones as well just have to spend time researching them.

@Stevepep agree on Mile High. Dig the guy and the brand, but for the price I expect more than just extra conformity at Kovera. My last 2 rounds of TRZ felt "weak" compared to others I trust (Crush, Peptide Supply Co, Peptide Plugs, etc...). I wanted to stick with them as a CO guy, but...

Yes, with Tirz, some vials I purchased that didn't "feel" as effective. I found this not only in the RUO world but also with brand and compound from telehealth companies. Same dose different company, different outcomes. A good example is what someone on this forum found, they sent in a vial from their kit for testing. Their test results came back significantly less than what the Vendor's CoA had, can't remember the exact numbers, but overall, it would have an impact on their research if they chose to use the Vendor's numbers instead of what their vial tested at.

BTW your post didn't sound ranty at all 🙂

@blueeyedme yes, while that is true, there has to be some level of trust with th vendor or it would be pointless to purchase imo

I’m not super new to this and I have tried multiple companies, but have always been a little skeptical. Started with Strate Labs (rip), then tried Elite Biogenix, NetGenPeptides, and most recently, EZ Peptides.

Strate labs Reta I REALLY felt, EZ peptides almost felt a little “watered down” if that makes sense.

I’ve never sent anything for testing so I don’t have much solid evidence, but has anyone felt like some companies don’t give you as much of the product?

EZ has great pricing but I’d rather spend a little more for someone like Mile High… but would hate to be spending more for no reason. What’s up with the price swings?

Apologies if this is Ranty, doesn’t make sense, or is confusing.

So after reading everyone’s posts, it kinda sounds like EZ is a clear, top contender when it comes to both price AND quality. Am I wrong? Who else would be up there with them?

@WisGal64 thank you!!! I still don’t know how people justify spending more for the same peptide if they’re all good, vetted vendors. I guess that’s my main question.

@abemedina The price you see isn't just the price of raw peptide. A lot goes in maintaining a website, customer support, consistent testing, payment methods etc. Often higher prices reflect more mature and professional ops. Some prefer that to avoid post ordering headaches.

Some focus on small number of products with cheaper, bulk pricing. Some have huge product portfolio, lyophilized, capsules, sprays, creams etc.

I had poor experience once when I went against my judgement of the vendor ops maturity because the product I was looking for was only available with them.

ALL this comes into final vial prices.

@abemedina Yes, EZ is the best for single vials. Once you find a peptide you like, go to Nexaph and buy a kit. You’ll save so much money buying kits.

@abemedina after trying a few vendors over the last year. Ive settled on 2, nexaph and crush. Both offer great pricing/testing and offer kits. Communication and transparency in my experience have been great with both companies. As some have mentioned EZ is good for single vials as you're testing things out. Id say look at crush for single vials as well since you can build 3 or 5 vial kits with a discount added.
