Tesamorelin alone or Tesa/Ipa blend
-
@bfuller You are right. I only referred to the narrative from all the leading influencers in this matter. "12-week timeline" for Ipamorelin desensitization is primarily an anecdote and clinical convention.
One one hand, the target of Ipamorelin, GHS-R1a (ghrelin) receptor undergoes rapid desensitization when exposed to continuous stimulation, is proven science, in general.
But there are no trials for Ipamorelin, specifically. Only a note by Novo Nordisk that Ipamorelin was remarkably unique because it resisted the acute, rapid desensitization seen in Hexarelin.
I would speculate it does desensitize the receptor eventually, but perhaps significantly slower than in 12 weeks, after looking at the evidence (or the absense of it). Thank you!@vpeptides, I read a mouse study where acute doses were given for 21 days and no measurable receptor desensitization was measured like was recorded with different analogs acutely dosed over the same time frame. But then again mice and short timeline but even so these were acute doses so you would imagine if there was something there it would be measurable. Oh well over the last 10 years I thought all GHRP's caused receptor desensitization, but now I'm learning maybe not?

My raccoon underwent quite a weight loss journey starting in January and by far the most intense period of it was when I introduced tesa/ipa. Its never gone over 1.5 tesa .3 ipa and it absolutely nuked its midsection fat. It started in size 38 jeans and is now in 30's

@Mr-Smurf Did that transition in your raccoon cause any loose skin in the process?

@randy should have an AI summary box on this forum. I'm missing out on long discussions if I don't come online for a day or even a few hours.

@Reactive3078 yes a little bit. Actively fighting it with extra core exercises to build its muscle outwards, microneedling, ghk serum, ghk/kpv injections, extra aggressive on the ghk (5mg), collagen/glycine supplementing, tretinoin cream, and higher tesa/ipa dose to induce more igf1 locally. It turned out to be a much higher responder than initially planned for and things got out of hand fast, luckily no folding, just some laxity

@pep_researcher if you have AI you can ask it to read the forum and tell you which threads and updates are of interest to you. Over time, it will become alarmingly well tuned to your preferences.

@Mr-Smurf This is exciting to me. My research is having a hard time losing mid-section fat. I'll have to try Tesa. With the Ghkcu you said you have 5mg. Mine is 2.5mg. Is it safe to go up to 5mg?

@tmdeck9904 Start low and go from there. My body seems to take ghk quite well no stinging no drama but it isnt the case for everyone.
