Well, that is a bummer, since 2 of my favorite vendors, use ILS. Question/Comment: Based on my read of the comments posted about ILS, it appears that most issues come from private testing. In the context of vendors using ILS for multiple vial testing, ILS provides notes about their methodology, including a statement about where that 100% purity could come from. Is it possible that ILS favors vendor testing rather than private testing and that they are more lax when it comes to the latter? I'm just asking, as a recent newbie. For instance, on a popular ILS's vendor's COA, one note explains that non-peptide related impurities are excluded from peptide purity.

@icynemby
Vendor testing is private testing… They send in they said in the samples like anyone else does.
In fake, when I sent in my samples to them I sent them in under “my own company (Vendor) name). I don’t actually have any company selling peptides, I just put down that I was a company, with custom labels with “my company’s” name on it and batch numbers... -
@commander, thanks for the explanation. Live and learn.....

@e_kantor2 I know. I had multiple favorites 6 months ago who used Vanguard or Janoshik faithfully for a long time. Then after RFK Jr podcast and FDA news the space exploded and now my previous favorites are jumping all over the labs. Initially I was amazed to see pretty much everyone starting to offer full panel COAs until the dirt started coming out.

True as Randy said a vendor is only good until they're not.

Need a lab filter on the Peptide price index.

@e_kantor2 no just search the community.

Great Article! I will NEVER EVER USE iLS again. I think they are smoking too much of the pot they are testing over there…
@Commander they forgot there is this little thing calibration just a tiny error nothing to see here. Lol the biggest issue is they aren’t catching these mistakes so they have zero QC. It’s pretty scary actually to think about how many products are out there with crappy COA’s. From them and Freedom

Recently got a vial of tirz and 2 vials of reta from a well supported vendor here, labs were run by ILS. Tirz might very well have been anything, absolutely zero effect. Contacted seller and they offered a refund on the two reta vials, I feel disappointed in the whole situation and will not be buying from the vendor until they switch to a different lab

@Mydogdaryl423 working on it

So now that ILS is on the shit list do we still trust freedom?? Seems like the high majority of vendors are using ILS and Freedom
I don’t trust Freedom anymore. At least twice with me they have come back 30% to 50% different than the other Labs -

Thanks @randy . That will be a huge upgrade.

What are you guys doing now with all the vials tested by ILS? I bought a 10-pack of Reta from Crush a month ago 🥲

@RagnatLothbrok You can take your chances because ultimately everyone is buying from the same handful manufacturers in China.
I'm researching something with ILS COAs right now. Nothing untoward noticed.
This actually goes on to show that barring exceptions like those sky high endotoxin levels in a couple of batches, China actually has a robust manufacturing process that wins over shitty US lab testing. Sadly to say.

@Randy That would be so great. Although I'm afraid then once I put a filter on testing lab, no vendor may show up in the list as everyone seems to be moving to questionable labs for getting their batches out and cashing their profits.

I had a chat about peptide testing labs with Grok (the LLM AI chatbot) and guess what — it cited Cujo the dog and 100% purity on COA incidents from Randy's blog while cautioning me about ILS.
Pretty awesome that this info is getting synthesized through data mining tools so quickly.
That's why I love this forum for being the fight club, and not the goody goody rom-com of vendors and 7/7 COAs labs.
