Discussion: ILS Labs Can’t Fill Out a PDF, but Please "Trust the Science"
-
@RagnatLothbrok You can take your chances because ultimately everyone is buying from the same handful manufacturers in China.
I'm researching something with ILS COAs right now. Nothing untoward noticed.
This actually goes on to show that barring exceptions like those sky high endotoxin levels in a couple of batches, China actually has a robust manufacturing process that wins over shitty US lab testing. Sadly to say.
@pep_researcher it’s actually going downhill lots of crap in peoples vials. Probably the same issue the labs are having volume and poor QC. China is known for subpar QC. I would at least visually analyze the vial after you reconstitute and filter. Some people seem to just not care and want the deal so they just accept the possibility The lab got it wrong and hope for the best which is up to them. There is no right or wrong it’s a matter of risk tolerance. Once you have a bad experience it changes. Trust me. until then, it appears for most people ILS, no worries I got a great deal. You increase the chance and then you have to deal with the aftermath and it sucks

BTW ILS says on their website that they are ISO 17025 Accredited Laboratory
I read here and even AI tools said they are NOT! What's the truth?

ISO 17025 Accredited
they are. for cannabis.
FWIW I messaged a couple of vendors that I liked in the past who used Vanguard but started using ILS that their COAs are not invoking trust due to ILS mess and "misleading" claims about ISO accreditation for peptide testing.
Hope is that research
and Peptide Critic forum work as pressure groups to keep RUO space clean.

What are you guys doing now with all the vials tested by ILS? I bought a 10-pack of Reta from Crush a month ago 🥲

I contacted a vendor I really like and used Vanguard exclusively in the past, and then started using ILS.
They are under the impression that ILS is ISO certified for "peptide testing", so I pointed out to them what Randy said. Now they have gone on back foot, said they will look into this thoroughly.
FWIW they are a good vendor. ILS is grossly misleading the RUO market and busy vendors by saying ISO certified on the homepage without specifying for what.

I just had the same thing happen. Am working on starting a local peptide company and sent my initial batches of Tirz and Reta to ILS. Took over a month since they initially lost my vials, and today I got COAs saying my Tirz was 99.9% pure something that isn't Tirz, while my Reta is 100% but not Reta. But somehow the conformity vial of Reta is Reta albeit only 99.79% pure.
Needless to say I don't have a ton of confidence there wasn't a mixup along the way. I will try Freedom or Vanguard unless anyone has another recommendation.
