I’m getting ready to reconstitute the CJC/Ipa vial. It is a 5mg/5mg vial. I have trouble remembering how to figure the blends. Do I figure this as a 5mg vial or a 10mg vial? I want the starting dosage to be 250mcg of each peptide.

My first thought is to treat it as a 5mg vial, where I would reconstitute it with 2ML. I would then draw 10 units?

It confuses me, if I am putting in the correct mg for the vial and the correct dosage (thinking maybe it should be 10mg vial and 500mcg dosage).

    Is my initial thought correct?

That's 500 mcg total of the blend. 2 ml is 200 units. So your 10,000 mcg (10 mg) vial will be a concentration of 10000/200 = 50 mcg/unit. I usually write "x50" on the vial for reference.

      So, to have 500 mcg you will need 10 units which is 500 = 10 x50 ( or 10 = 500 / 50).

      attentiion is all you need

So, our math came out the same, 10 units, just figured slightly different. These blends confuse me! LOL
