Recently purchased 60mg Epithalon from Peptidology and it didn't reconstitute properly
-
I reached out to Peptidology and they were absolutely amazing. They cross-checked my batch with their quality team and offered to replace the vial free of charge. In their own quality testing, they recommended that the 60mg vial needs to be reconstituted with 6 ml of BAC and that 4 ml might not have been enough. In any case, they replaced it without any hassle.
They even offered to switch out my single 60mg vial with 6 10mg vials, 2 day Fedex shipping, no charge. They also included a free Hospira bacteriostatic water too!
All resolved within the same day.
@Grant_Gochnauer Great!
Off topic — Epithalon is different from Epithalamine. Epithalamine protocols ask for 5-10mg dosing per research. But Epithalon is a smaller synthetic compound extracted from Epithalamine, whose research dosing protocol only demands 500mcg to 1mg per research. So more Epithalon and thus higher capacity vial is not required.
My 2c!

That's great service. Exactly how it should be instead of blaming the customer like Southern Amino does. We all should support vendors that provide this service of level to us.

I just got this email from them. I didn't even realize that the bottles were short and wouldn't have for quite a while. Proactive on their part. Great company!
"We wanted to reach out regarding your recent SLU-PP-332 order. There was an error in the product listing, which showed 60 capsules per bottle, while the actual bottle contains 30 capsules.
We’ve created a replacement order for 3 additional bottle of SLU-PP-332 at no extra cost. Your replacement order number is #79663.
The replacement will ship via FedEx 2-Day, and you’ll receive the tracking link as soon as it ships.
We apologize for the confusion and appreciate your understanding."

Edit: Even better. I guess it was supposed to be just 30 capsules after all, as the listing is now correct, but when I ordered it it showed as 60 capsules. So they actually are making it correct in that way for me based on my purchase. I can only imagine how many vendors would have told me too bad when I realized it was less capsules than what was stated on the product listing page and would have told me to piss off.

I pivoted a friend to Peptidology who newly entered RUO and was considering some random online vendor his gym trainer recommended. That vendor most likely carried doctored COAs because I immediately spotted problems. Plus that vendor is not on any price index vetted lists, and I know a handful now.
Next I referred him to Nexaph.

Peptidology and Nexaph will be my consistent suppliers for lab research.
Should both of them disappear (oh God no), I might just straight go dark grey with my own testing. I've seen enough testing lab drama now.

Thanks! I have read a lot about protocols for Epitalon being originally based on Epithalamine and it seems that that is now the consensus whenever I look for standard Epitalon protocols. This peptide seems to have the most variability in terms of how much people are researching with. I was going to go with 3mg daily for 20 days. I've read some people doing 5 to 10mg a day! I've also seen some around 500mcg to 1mg per your note.
Curious if anyone has seen any more definitive researching guide for this protocol.

Speaking of Peptidology, did you see the latest note from them about going all in on US manufacturing?
Note pasted below:
Although we buy some US products, we're moving to a 100% US manufacturing partner, and we're going all in. To help the transition, our current high-quality inventory of compound vials and capsules is on sale. Our new inventory starts to arrive in about 3 weeks, and that's when Nichole and Torie begin their quality assurance process; expect the new products within 5-6 weeks. We expect all products to be 100% US-manufactured by February 2027.What we're aiming for with this investment:
- 100% of finished products manufactured in the United States
- GMP-certified manufacturing for vials, capsules, tablets and liquids
- Sterile bacteriostatic water in 10 mL and 30 mL, with a lower pH
- Two decades of experience and a deep technical bench
- Guaranteed manufacturing capacity for our products
- Products in 3 mL vials moved to 5 mL vials
Most of the US manufacturers we looked at met some of these, not all of them. It's important to understand that more than 99% of all raw ingredients are imported; this manufacturer has long-term arrangements with qualified and legitimate raw material manufacturers.
As a result of this transition, we're offering 3 for the price of 2 on compound vials and capsules through Saturday night, October 31, Arizona time. Most batches tested to our earlier standard (marked 7× on the product page) are also 20% off, and 3 for the price of 2 applies on top: three of the same 20%-off 7× vials come to about 47% off list.

@Grant_Gochnauer 0.1 mg a day is already considered effective for melatonin production. More, like 0.5 mg - 5 mg speculatively has an effect on telomeres and other systemic effects, at least there are some animal studies. Most researchers are somewhere in the between, like 1-3 mg a day.

@Grant_Gochnauer Yes I received it too. They are one of the few vendors to consistently maintain Vanguard lab. Vendors who jump labs every other month whining that labs take too long should learn from Peptidology.
Josh is an amazing and intelligent owner, thinking long term, not just chasing low price and sales.
Nowadays I only check Peptidology for singles or Nexaph for kits.
-
Yea I like Peptidology as well. I don't mind paying a premium on single vials to try out a new pep. If I still like it then ill buy a kit from Nexaph,
@denti Exactly my strategy.
