Glutathione (GSH) Subcutaneous Research Dosing Protocol
-
@WisGal64 i've been trying to read up on subcutaneous results since i only have experience with IV infusions but even after just two session IV infusion skin was noticeably lighter. I honestly had no purpose to get the infusions also, just joined my mother (and her rat?) because she said it was for her liver health and brother wanted practice placing IV's lol. going into this rabbit hole made me realize i've been using peptides longer than i thought i have been hahaha

@keurimm My rat prefers his Glutathione IM, 400mg-500mg 3x per week in the thigh or glute. It's good stuff! Haven't been sick once, no seasonal allergies and skin that's never looked better.
-
@wisgal64 , hmmm....sounds like using this and MT1 might be counterintuitive?
-
@jackiewatson ya, this is where I’m at, definitely don’t want to run together. I want the benefits of both but will have to do some more research
-
anyone have a source for Fuan?
@brandenscheidecker
I got some from Mile High recently. -
Just got delivered some of that Korean Glutathione from Southern Aminos. I believe I snagged their last one. Now on to finish my quest of finding some Fuan Glutathione.

@mrjoshua44 That is exactly what I bought…how many ml of bac water and units are you planning on running?

@mrjoshua44 I guess I could go do the math on the calculator but wondering how you are reconstituting to get that dose. Any burn like copper or NAD?

@beachfun I used 9mL's of GTB water since it was my first time reconstituting glutathione. Probably could've used less but that's ok. Haven't tried it yet, my first dose will be later today. But that GTB water has taurine in it so it's supposed to take the bite out of the shot. Anyway, I have my dose set at 200mg which in this concentration is 150cc/units or 1.5mL. But since I normally pin 400mg 3x a week, I'll be pushing 300cc/units or 3mL's IM.

Yay! Just got a couple of purple tops delivered.

I would LOVE to do Glutathione subq. I got infusions which had more B12 than anything, IMO. Please let me know if you dd subq and your recipe and how it turned out.
I asked my Dr. about this, "Since Gluta speeds up detox in phase two, it shouldn't speed up the detox of other peptides, should it?" She didn't know how to answer this; wasn't sure.

@Eleanor I mainly pin my Glutathione IM in either my thigh or glutes. And that's due to the volume of the injection. I just reconstituted a 1200mg vial the other day using GTB water (Glutathione Transport Bacteriostatic Water). I used 9mL's of GTB. So that solution came out to be 133.33mg/mL and my dose is 200mg. And that worked out to be 150 Units or 1.5mL. I try not to pin anything SubQ that's going to be more than 100 units or 1mL. Next time I'm going to decrease the amount of mL's used to reconstitute it. To answer your second question, no. It does not affect other peptides.
Here is why it doesn't arbitrarily speed up the detox/clearance of other peptides:
Different Processing Pathways: Peptides are chains of amino acids. The breakdown and clearance of specific functional peptides are generally handled by specialized enzymes (like peptidases and proteases) spread throughout the blood and tissues, not just the liver's Phase 2 detox pathways.
Specialized Conjugation: In Phase 2, Glutathione S-transferase (GST) enzymes only attach glutathione to specific electrophilic (reactive) toxins or free radicals to make them water-soluble. It generally does not bind to or speed up the degradation of beneficial peptides.
Biological Targets: Rather than breaking other peptides down, Glutathione often interacts with them synergistically. It serves as a master antioxidant to protect them from free radical damage and oxidative stress so they can properly bind to their intended cell receptors.

@mrjoshua44 Thank you, Sir! Excellent information. I don't like IM's because as a redhead, I bruise easily and I never seem to get the poke 100% right.
How many times per week to you pin?

@mrjoshua44 I have that Korean Glutathione but not the bac water for it. Going to the clinic tomorrow so will see if they can get me started. Thanks so it looks like a IM shot
