    I think the AOD has enough acetate in the lyophilized material. The last step is a salt exchange, TFA---> Acetic Acid. The ion pairing appears to persist during the lyophilization phase. I used BAC from a different vendor, and it seems to be stable, one week later. Chris did send me two more vials. I'll make sure I don't add the AA. I think we all solved this, Randy, showed this in his YouTube. Digging deeper, it makes sense that the acetate is around in the lyophilized product. Yay team!

      @daveeid303 the problem may be that the cheaper manufactures cut the corners and don't run that extra step to remove enough TFA. I have seen so far only one seller testing for TFA and another one claiming to remove residual TFA.

        @vpeptides
        That's not reassuring. If these are dissolving in BAC, there is a high probability that the pH is low enough due to the TFA counterion. Yikes!

          You also need to have a wide fasting window of 2-3 hours before and after your dose. If you can dose and workout, even better.

          So I don't eat after 7 p.m. and I have worked out in the a.m fasted for years now. Workout is usually in the 9-10 a.m. window. I then won't eat again until after 12 so that's not an issue for me. I am also currently researching Reta. I don't have a lot of weight to lose, I'm 5'8" 154lb. Was curious if this could help tighten up the mid section to see if I could even get a two pack.

          Appreciated the feedback. That goes for all that did respond, thanks.

          @afkar7 Yes. I'm on Reta too and in a similar boat where I'm trying to get the missing 2-pack to the 8-pack (5'11" / 167lbs). You and I are super similar in our fasting habits, so based on what you wrote AOD will be a perfect addition. Never use AOD by itself....the trials proved it's not very effective in this manner. My female lab rat found that HIIT workouts (assuming you are fat adapted) are more effective than zone 2 cardio with AOD, but both are effective at melting that fat.

            I have not used, but AOD users are raving about this AOD water: https://www.medicalbacwater.com/product-page/acetic-acid-bac-water-w-glycerin-10ml

              Mixed mine as per video posted by @randy. Looks good to me. Just used bac water.

                BTW, is anyone researching their AOD-9604 with a pen? Seems to be a little thicker and was wondering how well it works with the pens.

                Thanks

                  @afkar7 I exclusively use a pen for it. Never had an issue with a v4 at least.

                      I’ve been using it in a Gansulin pen with 31g needles. Never an issue. In fact I think it’s better in a pen vs a vial as you prevent air from getting into it which I believe AOD hates.
