Pen Storage

I have a question regarding storage, most insulin pens manufacturers dont recommend storing the whole pen in the fridge because overtime the dosing can get inaccurate, is this true and do you personally store this in the fridge?

I have a 1.5 year old v1 thats lived in the fridge its entire life. Still as accurate as day one.

Follow-up question, when you’re keeping the pen in the fridge filled with a daily use peptide like GHK-CU. Every day it’s being taken out to warm and then placed back in the refrigerator. Does this not cause degradation of the drug?

It is only out for less than a minute l. Do not take it out and let it warm up. Warm cold cycles kill the peptides

This is exactly my question, I’ve seen lots of researchers saying to let peptides warm to room temperature before injecting, especially those that are prone to stinging (MOTS-C/GHK-CU). When using syringes this is easy because you just draw cold into syringe and immediately place the vials back in the fridge.

Yes, if you are going to let it warm up before taking it - You Cannot use pens.
