Discussion: The Importance of Third-Party Testing in the Peptide Industry

@saltyalty Id like that but organizing it is a disaster im not getting into (unless you have some ideas?). I put a thread like that in the grey zone and immediately people were posting third party coa's with no context.
What vendor did you get your compounds from and can we see both COA's?

You ain’t kidding.
I am happily participating in two and I don’t think I have the capacity, or the patience, to organize and execute. All I can do is play my part in a timely manner.
That and respect the organizers instructions.Newb question here. What is COA? I assume the lab results?

How do I access the article? It pops up password prompt and my community login password isn't working.
UPDATE: I found it via blog links on the main page. Thank you.

I just got a couple tests from Peptira in this morning. I've also got what they have posted on their site.
Can you share what those variances are?
My TA-1 had a variance of 29.6% from my COA to their COA posted on the website. The variance was 62% from the label which is high... you can't reliably dose with those large deviations.
I reached out to Peptira and to their credit, they refunded me the cost of the order and a little more, which I appreciated.

Thanks for sharing those, WOW, how can 2 labs be so different in the Net content? And fillers???

@WisGal64 Yea...crazy. I've had 4 other items from Peptira tested (Reta, GHK-CU, MOTS-C, and DSIP) and they all came back within normal range. This was a one-off issue - and like I said, they refunded me.

Glad they did, good customer service
I see quite few posts about Peptira and how much they like them and their products. -

Sorry to hear this. I’ve had good luck with them (at least I thought).
Why does your 3rd party test results show a mass of 196.6mg when it seems they tested a 5mg bottle? I’m sure I’m missing something blatantly obvious….
EDIT: I’ll go ahead and answer my own question. I did not realize that 5 mg of these peptides can amount to a grain of sand, and therefore they all use fillers of some sort… thank you Grok.
But you’re right…. How can you dose properly when you’ve got 8.1mg net and your Peptira COA says 6.25mg net…
