v2 pen cap hole?
-
You should make a video demoing actually injecting Randy with the V2. I could not figure out why the cap has a hole in it.
I suppose it's not necessary. And maybe introducing the chance for contamination.

You mean the part of the cap that hides the needle? You don't leave the needle on, that hole is there for people who don't want to see the needle.

I think I have the hang of the V2 now. The prick of a 31g 4mm needle is so minimal - i was wondering if i was doing it right. My lab rat is not obese and has dropped a lot of weight.... I'm wondering if I need to go to a 6 mm needle—for my rat. Not using the V2 cap.

I'm still confused on this...maybe I'm doing it wrong. I have the v4, and without the needle, the hidden cap system works by retracting when pushed on. When I have a needle in the pen, the cap barely retracts, and the needle (5mm) is not exposed at all, I have to remove the cap before injecting my research rat. seems like the needle is preventing the cap from retracting, or maybe I'm doing something wrong. Any help would be appreciated.

The pen needle might be too short to work with that pen. I don’t bother with the caps, personally.
