Advice on Pen purchase & accessories - Excited to elevate my research
-
New here and feel fortunate to stumble upon Peptide Critic after 6 months of my own research. It's been a journey to gather accurate information and find quality/reasonably priced suppliers. (Excited about EZpeps & Nexaph)
I'm interesting in getting starting with using pens for research but don't really know where to start based on the different versions. I've been through the blog/tutorials/youtube videos and am looking for a beginner one to get me started.
This is what I've gathered I need so far:
Research Pen
3ml glass cartridges
Plus pen tips 33g x 4mm (may try the Novofine after getting familiar with this new kind of research)Besides the research pen recommendation, am I missing anything to get started?
Much appreciated.

3 ml Luer lock syringes
1.5” luer lock needles (25-27ga)
Venting needles (29-30ga? 1-1.5”)
70% alcohol swabs
Bac waterYou may already have some or all of this, but it’s worth making sure you have them before you start loading carts.
Welcome!

*Update - I have been doing research the traditional way and have everything I need for that kind of research. I'm looking for advice on a beginner research pen and what's needed with that. Thank you!

@ResearchCat or @randy Do you have recommendations where to get Venting needles & 3ml sterile vials?
Thank you!

*Found both links by going through other posts, all good!
Still wondering if the Research Pen V3.5 is good for a first pen, thanks!
-
I like the v2, Xulin, and Gansulin auto-pen. The V2 is probably a good choice; available in the store here. I haven’t used the v3.5 yet.
I get most of my supplies/gear on Amazon.

@PeptidePreston I recently learned about ConviPens. Another autoinjector pen like the gansulin. I've heard a lot of good things about them and they're supposed to beat all other autoinjectors pricewise but never used one myself.

I’ve been trying to find Convipen or Gansulins that I can get delivered here to Aus for a while - the only places I can find are dodgy looking Indian or Chinese websites where you can’t really tell if they are copies or not.

@ResearchCat I have a V3.5 and it's a great pen to start with.

I don’t really thing they make fakes of these. They aren’t that much money..
I am not 100% sure, but doesn’t Jeff (Peptide Critic) ship overseas. -

Nah - the website itself doesn’t let international shipping on anything which is the same with most of the more well known pen sellers over there. Dunno why, must be too much hassle or a legality thing maybe.I’ve found a place in England that does but not sure if they are real or copies - they don’t sell gansulins but have Convipen & Gensupen 2’s which look sort of like a convi with a bit of a tapered end.
Am just about to buy a few to see what they’re like. -

The Gensupen is not like the Convi or Gansuillin, it is plastic and feels cheap. It is also very picky with what carts it works with.
If you are on Telegram, go to STG (Stairway To Grey) channel. There is a pen sub category. People have asked this same question their and got replies on where to buy them if they did not live in the usa. There are vendors there that will ship to you. -
Yeh I was only going to get the Convipen - you wouldn’t have a link to STG would you?
