V2 Help
-
I was hesitant about reaching out for help, but this is maybe more just to calm my nerves and get me on the right track. I feel like I've done as much research as I can without asking for help, but now I'm just looking for that final reassurance.
I have a 30mg vial of Reta, I am going to re-constitute w/3ml BAC. My starting dose is going to be .5mg. I have the V2 pen that I am going to use. If I want .5mg that would be "5" on the V2 pen correct? Anything else I'm missing? Thank you in advance!

Im not going to check your math for you but always do more volume than 5 units. the 5 on the pen is 5 units. https://peptidecritic.com/tools/peptide-calculator

Hey @randy thank you. Could you please be more specific on "always do more volume than 5 units"

@ff_turkish in the past Randy has recommended to push 10 units minimum on pens for accurate dosing. The amount of pressure it takes to move the plunger in the vial can result in inaccurate dosing at lower unit levels.
I recommend While at .5 mg use a 1/3ml insulin syringe for accuracy. Once you step up start using the pen then. -
