How much peptide is lost during filtering?
-
Just curious if anyone has any insights on this. I imagine SOME amount of peptide is lost during the filtering process- but perhaps the amount is usually completely trivial. AI agents seem to bring up the hydrophobic quality of some peptides can cause them to bind to the filter materials, is this just slop?

The AI is mostly wrong. The amount of loss (sticking to the filter) Isnt measurable. You arent losing enough mass (mg/ml) for it to matter.
we cover how much liquid is lost here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0EHHXTdlYCw
