    Hey there,
I am new to the community and I was brought to peptides, in general, by my son. He is a member somewhere in this community! I have been suffering from deteriorating health over the last decade. I've undergone countless procedures, surgeries, and take more than one person should in pharmaceuticals (all of which are below a schedule 2). I am beginning to believe all the chatter about the big pharmas keeping us sick. But, being an educated person and trained as a researcher, I have to rely on research and medical doctors to somewhat understand what is going on in me that is failing so horribly after being an active vibrant human until my mid 30s. Suffice it to say, that hasn't given me the answers I seek, not in its totality. Enter my son telling me that he started experimenting with these peptide compounds. I was really a nay-sayer at first. I am concerned about his health and well-being and as any mother would tell you I was terrified about his experimenting with these. However, sometime has past and he seems only the better for it. At the same time, I have reached a point in my journey at 57 where I am like, "what do you have to lose"? I am now 100 lbs overweight, can't walk, can't breathe, have a host of other issues all relating back to insulin resistance in my body yet not being close to diabetic, inflammation from autoimmune disorders, and the list goes on. So, here I am at the beginning of my reasearch journey with peptides and I am starting with just one and that is the Retatrutide. Having researched Ozempic and Mounjaro with good outcomes until insurance banned it from our policies, I am familiar and hopeful. It's been a while since I was hopeful about much, but I am today. Thanks for the opportunity to help you know me better. Peace ✌️
