  • Going from Reta back to Tirz
    T thatkatmat

My rat was on Tirz for 8 mos, dose got up to 9mg's a week plus was stacking Cagri and or Survo, lost 40 lbs, switched to (just) Reta, lost another 10 pounds in the last few months. I'm traveling to a country I'm not comfortable bringing grey to for about a month. They are VERY strict. I have a prescription for Zepbound and some Zep vials so I'm okay bringing that. The plan is to switch back to Tirz for the trip, then decide what I want to do from there. Currently on 8mg's Reta and have about 2 months before my trip.
I know when we went from Tirz to Reta I had to start the Reta at a very low dose (2mg's) even though we were used to 9mg's Tirz. I understand that, as you are hitting a new receptor. But when switching from Reta, back to Tirz, do I need to start all the way down at 2.5mg's or should I be able to handle more, like 5mg's, I'm not hitting new receptors but realize the amt's are different.
How did you do it? What did your schedule look like? Did you Titrate one up and the other down or just switch? Any surprise side effects?
    Cheers!

  • The "ghetto" Reta Stack. Tirz + Survo/Maz
    T thatkatmat

@Randy said in The "ghetto" Reta Stack. Tirz + Survo/Maz:

Cagri made it impossible to hit protien goals. I have a few kits on hand...like if i need to cut 10 lb in 3 weeks its there.

Survo/tirz feels more like im taking reta (which i did for a while) without the death itch.

If that research combo is working for you keep running it.

Hey Randy, did you go straight to Survo from Cagri or did you wash out the Cagri for a period of time. I've got this kit of Survo and am itching to use it...lol. Also, I'm at 7.5 Tirz and .375 Cagri, would you start the Survo at .3mg or .6mg? I'm asking what you would do or did, not what i should do. 😉

I've used Nexaph for reta and it's worked out quite well so far. I like getting the set of 10 vials because I can sacrifice one for testing and still have - what is for me - a year's worth.

Do you do the group testing on their TG page? What a great resource that is. I use their Tirz and Cagri and bought some kits of the reta 24 for Maintenance.

@ResearchCat said in Tirzepatide — Weekly Research Dosing Protocol:

For a while I was injecting every 5th day since that is the 50% half life of Tirz. Or you can split doses. I know that is common for Reta. I am currently using 5mg Tirz/week and find my appetite does increase a lot Fridays and Saturdays(Saturday night is dose night) but overall my weight is stable to slightly down, my overall calories are in line, and I get to enjoy larger meals once or twice a week.

A friend’s rat does split dosing for Reta and is happy with the results so far.

I couldn't do the split dosing, just didn't work for me, there has been times when I decide to take my weekly a day, or even a couple days before my pinning day. but i don't do that continually, just as needed. I chalk it up to perhaps I dosed a little less on the last shot, hard for me to be perfectly exact with dosing, even after buying .5cc syringes. I have ordered a couple different pens that I hope will make that easier.

The trials started higher but im stacking glps so better to go on the lighter end.

If hunger is a big issue cagri is the one. if you want a taste of the glucagon with some increase in the satiety of more GLP go survo or mazdutide. Either way theyre great options.

Maz is really expensive!.... and kinda hard to find. I have a 10mg vial that someone gifted me, will give it a go one of these days. Until then the Cagri is currently doing the job and i found a kit of Survo if cagri starts to wear down. I'm close to goal weight so I don't see myself doing all 3 🙂

I'm using Cagrilintide and it works well for me, makes me fuller quicker, I've heard Survodutide is also a good add to Tirz. If Cagri wasn't working for me I'd try the Survo stack.

I just hit 3 months on Tirz, and did my blood work the day before I started and today, I already got my results back and 3 months ago, everything was near or in the danger zone..... Today, all, and I mean EVERY marker, has me in the "healthy" zone now. What a turn around. 3 mos ago I was 40 pounds heavier and prediabetes with fatty liver and kidney markers indicating future disease. Not anymore...Soon I'll be on maintenance.
I'm so glad I finally got a PA that knew about GLP1's and suggested i try rather than dissuade me like the prior 2 snobby losers who had a problem with them did...
A special thanks Randy and this page for the continuing education, vendor reviews and helpful videos.

On my 4th week at .25mg's a week and I'm at 6mg's Tirz...after 4 weeks I'm feeling the buildup of the Cagri. It helps with food noise but what's cool about it is that it makes me feel full after a small portion of protein. Like, really full to where I don't want anymore. My problem over the years has been food noise and portion size...i feel like the combo of Tirz/Cagri is THE perfect answer for me. I think I'm sticking right here for now.

Yeah, I'm gonna keep up the the Tirz/Cagri stack. I think that keeping the Cagri at a reasonably small dose has kept me on track. I'll be doubling up to a standard starting dose this week, so, we'll see how it hits.

  • Nexaph User Review: Excellent Quality, Fast shipping, Hard to beat prices
    T thatkatmat

Actually they do have a way to prove their results. they organize buyer paid tests for most of their product batches, so, it'd be very hard for them to fudge the numbers. In fact they aggressively promote buyer paid tests (basically groups of customers pool their resources and send in the products independently) and match them with the vendor tests. It's quite reassuring. This, to me is the best Vendor I've dealt with. High quality, fair pricing, great customer service and very transparent.

@Randy How do you like this (Tirz/Survo) compared to (Tirz/Cagri)? Anything I should be aware of that you figured out yourself other than what's in the available literature. I'm still titrating up on the Cagri but not sure if the lump in my gut is for me or not. I like a strong food noise suppression but not so much a "I'm stuffed beyond belief" feeling which Cagri seems to be giving me...I don't have much if any side effects from the Tirz or the Cagri and feel like I'm tolerating it relatively well compared to others reports on side effects.
    Thanks man.

I bought a bunch of kits from EZ and love the product. Just as strong as the name brand. It seems to actually make me feel more satiated than name brand (I think?). Anyways, Super fast shipping and I dealt with their customer service and it was excellent, answered all my questions. I bought mine during the Christmas sales and double stacked the coupons from this site making the price very affordable...Especially if you compared it to name brand.
