Test Result Section - Locked
-
@randy
Jeff would you consider a test result section that is locked and only admin can post in?
We would have to send an admin the results and they could post them. That way the formatting is consistent and is easy to search.
Example, I send you my 3rd party test result (and if available, the vendors test result) and you post it in the same format every time and it is a locked thread so no one could add to the thread. This would keep it clean and consistent.
Example thread name:
Nexaph - KLOW - Batch # NEXA03142026-2
You could also put the proper tags on it, so it is super easy to search. The section would stay clean of comments and chit chat and in my opinion be super valuable.Just a thought, would love something clean and super simple.

We've considered having a kind of library available but to be completely honest its an organizational nightmare im not able to take on.
I could open a testing section for posting tests results but that could get messy and hard to manage.
Another option i could probably pull off is a BAD TEST section we moderate.
Thoughts?

Question on this. I don’t know the limitation of the software that powers this forum, but…
Is it possible to make a Category “Testing Results” and by default when someone creates a post or thread, whatever it is called, that it is automatically locked where no one can reply to it? That would kind of keep it clean and cut down on unrelated poss in the thread? -
