Tesa vs CJC?

@ResearchCat ......Nice....he probably has probably compiled a pretty good recipe/playbook I imagine.

Yeah, we research a lot of the same protocols but I am 10 years older and married 25 years, so he needs more energy and stimulation.
Edit: and he is massive and I am puny.

@jborja @researchcat @commander I don't get this I know Tesa is supposed to stimulate growth hormone, but the research is on abdominal fat in AIDS patients. I use CJC/IPA and saw all of my testosterone levels increase on my monthly blood testing, so I have factual proof it works. I take it at night, probably never more than 2 -3 hours fasted. SHBG up 29% to optimal, Free up 36% to optimal, and total up 43% to 874, also optimal. The proof is in the blood work. For whatever reason, my Estrogen is my only marker that is not average or optimal. It may be related to recovery, sleep, and stress. I can't listen to Josh with his cocky I know everything because I am tatted up, steroid abuser. I think he actually knows less than most of us on here. Why he hasn't been shut down makes no sense.

I believe the issue is blood sugars, when they're elevated it contributes to somatostatin which is the growth hormone blocking hormone. Some people will fast and still have high blood sugars from having some insulin resistance, which imo needs to be addressed so that we're not getting water retention and carpal tunnel sides without the benefits.
With reta if you're still digesting dinner after 2 hours your blood sugars will still be elevated.
I'm currently working on getting my fasting blood sugars routinely 90 or under before I start gh or gh releasers. for what it's worth I'm still trying to figure alot of peptide information out and I may be off base but hopefully it adds to the discussion

Your body, in an evolutionary adaptation, knows that if you've eaten food, you don't need GH to break down stored fat, so it shuts down the whole GH assembly line.
I wouldn't wait to get your fasted glucose under 90 to start GH boosters, especially if you're over 40. Often these drugs in of themselves can actually improve insulin sensitivity over time via improved lypolisis. Definitely try the secretagogue path first to see how well you respond.

@Neil-McCauley cool, im 44 and fairly close to what I was shooting for anyway (had an 89 fbg yesterday, personal best) and have a couple pens ready for some tesamorelin and ipamorelin.

I don't have experience with CJC but did a recent cycle of 16 weeks of Tesa 1mg at night before bed Sunday through Thursday. Took Friday and Saturday off. The injection stung a little but that went away within 30 minutes or so. Wasn’t bad - at least not like GHK-Cu.
I was given some great advice before I started Tesa which I will pass along. If you can, try to do a DXA scan. I bought a 3-scan package for $200 from a scanning center where I live. I did the first scan this year in January and a follow up scan in late April. My visceral fat dropped 37%.
Full disclosure: I am a 60 year old male. Since January, I have been taking testosterone and researching Reta, GHK-Cu, Semax/Selank and recently added NAD+ in late April. I workout 4 to 5 days per week mixing strength and cardio.
My doctor recommended CJC/Ipa but I wanted to complete my cycle of Tesa first. TBH, I bought a bunch from Nexaph so I’ll probably finish that before I consider CJC/Ipa.
If you have any other questions about Tesa, I will try to answer them from my experience, but I am not a doctor and none of this is medical advice. I’m just an old dude that likes taking drugs.

@judgetoo I'm having trouble losing my belly fast and I've heard Tesa can help with this. What was your experience?

I was able to get rid of a lot of my belly visceral fat on Rets (Low Dose), MOTS-C, NAD+ & Tesa/IPA. Made a huge difference, I think I am 5 months in now.

I cant speak to those. Reta alone torched my belly fat.

I know its not suggested, but I take CJC/IPA at night and Tesa/Ipa in the am. Both in a fasted state. The Tesa at night left me with several sleepless nights, and the warm rush from CJC is dreamy.
