Pen vs syringe in the office.

someone should make a yeti cup insert for uh, discreet transport? depending on how long the insert is. could fit several vials. would be kinda dope tbh.

@phiberopttic a loaded insulin prick will not leak unless the plunger is pushed.
Amazon has clamshell travel cases with a cooling gel insert. -
I used to do this. Get the longest plastic 1ml syringe case on Amazon. You might have to try a couple. And you might still have to drill a 1/4" hole in the needle end to make it fit your particular setup. The case will hold the plunger in place. Measure the total length to choose a cooler pack that is long enough to fit your extended syringe.

Invest in the pen! Most people I know never look back. Lots of transport options to keep everything cool. You'll also be ready for the inevitable question of how to travel with your stuff. Plus great vids on here about how to fill a cartridge, etc. There might even be a 'shop' (see at top of page) which has a great selection!

Agree! One bonus is the needle doesn't get dull from sticking it in the vial to draw out the peptide! Love the pen. I bought one of the Gansulins for my husband and it is REALLY slick.

I invested in the $20 V2 pen and the travel pack in the shop here. Are the V2s popular? Any have a guess at the life span, assuming I'm using it 4x a week?
Thanks for all of the replies and feedback! Much appreciated.

I have a bunch of pens I use daily, including V1’s, V2’s, and V3’s. I like the V2’s best but they are all about the same to me. The Gansulin is my favorite, and the Xulin pen is good.
No idea how long they last, but the QoL improvement and cost relative to syringes probably makes the break even less than a year and they will probably last much longer than that.

@jackie I have 3 now and I love them. I still use the other ones for color coding and to see how they operate. (And things like KLOW and NAD+ are best injected slow, imo.)

You really can't go wrong with your first. I'm embarrassed to admit I now have a dozen of them in various stages of use and only one has given me trouble. I must have viewed the Gansulin on here 50 times just haven't pulled the trigger. The 2 Xulins seem the most refined- by just a bit.

I have several of the V2s. Not sure about life span, but I sure do like them.
