2ml, 5ml, 10ml vials real capacity?

First time got some mix and match of 2, 5, 10ml vials from Medlab.
To my surprise, they look much bigger than their claimed capacity.
I compared 2ml side by side to the regular 3ml lyophilized pep vial and it's exactly the same.
5ml looks so gigantic that I feel it might hold up to 7ml or more.
10ml same thing.
What's going on here? Is this intentional assuming we leave some empty headspace in vials?

@brandenscheidecker LOL I was thinking of doing that and I'm being stingy. I paid freaking $15 for shipping because I didn't hit $100 order minimum to get free shipping.
I'm used to Amazon Prime free shipping.

@brandenscheidecker That's 5ml vial. It can easily take up to 7ml if one uses the empty headspace.
