U guys are probably right, but I still stocked up on everything I’ll need through November or later just to be sure lol.

@gym.rat. Was tirzepatide one of those tested by chance?

@kristal PetideCritic put out a good video testing the shelf-life & stability of a few reconstituted peptides at room-temp… tirzepatide was one of them. Tirz was also the most solid of the bunch. Just from what I’ve gathered over the last few months, it does seem like peptides are more robust than some folks would have you believe. Here’s the video: https://youtu.be/lI4am0U49N4?is=dITKJF7yNWXMmwx-

Remember: there are no peptides that can fill the emptiness inside your cold heart.

I figure next-day air shipping is a good idea, especially given how hot it's been here in the Southeast.

I jumped onto the peptide bandwagon about 6mo ago and it’s been TREMENDOUSLY helpful so far. I found a vendor on here that actually ships from inside my state (KS). Recently I switched up vendors to try to diversify a bit. I thought Mile-High-Compounds was from CO, but the tracking info says that it shipped from Tempe, AZ… which has a high of 105°F today. I work at a shipping/delivery company and I know trucks become ovens. TLDR- how torched and worthless are peptide vials sent in this heat? I lucked out getting into peps during winter, so should I just wait til cooler temps again? I was actually trying to plan the order around a cooler-temp window between CO & KS… hopefully they still turn out ok. I’ll probably just stick with that first company I lucked out with in my state. Anyone else have a take on peptide degradation in the summer heat during shipping?

THAT is a great idea. I wanted to get all my peps here to Texas before the 90 degree heat (very humid) set in. Didn't quite get them all but about finished now.

I don't care what anyone says, you can cook vials in those trucks in a very short amount of time. Anything else I order will be of emergency need and hope the shipping is fast. Thought about it with July 4th sales to come and just not dealing with it. There are a couple of outfits that ship quick enough to where I'm not real worried about it, but not many; they get careless.

Your thinking is spot on. Never mind sending anything for testing; waste of money. Order when weather cools down, IF you have enough already.

I'm curious if anyone offering cold-pack shipping, if that makes a difference. I've seen a couple of vendors who offer it but, does it really matter?

Just someone with a fridge full of research and a browser history that would concern my doctor.

@Atlas Next day air works. I don't care who claims to have done testing on leaving vials out in the sun/heat, I won't expose mine like that if I can at all help it.

I've only experienced cold packing when I was dealing with already reconstituted 503 A/B pharmacies online.

@Eleanor I've seen a few suppliers offer it for the lyophilized peps, I forget who but it was early in my research/sourcing.

@BeeKind If you ever remember who they are, please let me know. I will say that Nexaph ships a slender boxed set inside of a bigger box which creates an airspace that tends to be protective, temperature wise.

(OMG, I was talking aloud while typing this and my friend watching news started singing song from old SNL skit "Dick In A Box". Can't breathe, laughing too hard...)

Saw this topic and rewatched Rory's interview with Peter Magic (janoshik) as I remember he talked about this. At 20:04, he recalled testing peptides (specifically hgh) he found in his garage that had been there for a decade, with little to no degradation and safe to use. The equivalent of taking 10.5 units instead of 11. He also goes into the room temp, vs fridge/freezer storage if interested. Rory did a great interview. If you haven't seen it it's worth a watch.

I live on TX Gulf Coast with near 100% humidity at times and worried about the dampness, not just heat, but will take Janoshik's word for it. Thank you for posting this. (I still won't do it.) Slovakia v. Houston; no comparison. Listen through min. 25:00.

I live in Georgia, so I get it. The peptides ability to survive that is directly dependent on the quality of the seal. Humidity more than heat is the problem. Those HGH vials must have been bad ass...

@Jake_PepTron Great question! I don't know 100% at what temperature peptides start to quickly degrade, but I do know this 100% - Lyophilized peptides are WAY more hardy than you think...and what you are led to believe. BUT, and it's a BIG but, like I said, I do not have the data on super high temps and peptide degradation. But Lyophilized peptides are hardy.

Direct sunlight is MUCH more damaging to peptides than heat! Photons degrade peptides and break the covalent bonds rendering the peptides useless after just days of direct exposure. According to a study in the Journal of Peptide Science, UV light exposure for just 48 hours can reduce the potency of certain lyophilized peptides by 15% to 20%. Heat takes weeks or months to cause that level of damage to freeze dried lyophilized peptides. I think it would do damage, but not much, if the peptides were in a shipping container in 110 degree Fahrenheit heat for a week or more. I get that after reading that journal of peptide science article reporting. https://adonyxbio.com/the-art-and-science-of-storing-lyophilized-peptides-a-deep-dive-into-stability-and-longevity/ and the reports below.

                                  https://www.perfectb.com/how-to-store-peptides/

                                  https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S1010603023000928

AND THIS ONE HITS THE HEAT THRESHOLD almost perfectly.

                                  https://onyxbiolabs.com/2026/01/25/peptide-stability-guide-freezer-vs-refrigerator-storage-protocols/?srsltid=AfmBOoo-_9H4UylTlqB93pD8mQ6noOc-d8BoCXwyWs722sOc6RjwbNlL

"lyophilized peptides easily tolerate brief, transient heat exposures up to 40°C–45°C (104°F–113°F) during transit with no measurable loss in purity. Thermal energy alone simply lacks the power to easily break covalent bonds in a completely dry, glassy matrix."

                                      @Eleanor HAHA! That's pretty funny.
And totally true! Example: Iraq in July 138 F, Ft Benning GA in July 98 w/90% humidity. MUCH hotter at Benning!! Much more miserable! Not even close! Lol

It's one of those things, "You have to be there" to understand.

@Eleanor I found it! It was renova peptides they offer:
                                          "Thermal Protection Packaging
Your order ships with ice packs in an insulated thermal bag to reduce temperature exposure during transit."
                                          for $12.99!
                                          renovapeptides.net

Just someone with a fridge full of research and a browser history that would concern my doctor.
