Med sensitive RS seeking advice on ss-31 protocol

I can be sensitive as well, particularly to Reta's side effects for some reason. That said there is a full writeup here (https://peptideprotocols.app/peptides/ss-31) on SS-31, along with dosing, how to use and how / when to stack it with peps like MOTS-c and ever popular NAD+. Pro tip: get the buffered NAD+. The product per personal anecdotes seems stronger, lasts longer, and doesn't sting nearly as much.

@gym.rat Question for you, could I use something like a pH strip to check if my NAD+ is buffered or not? If so, what ranges should I be looking for and if it's not buffered, would adding something like sodium bicarbonate be advisable?

@SwollStreetBets It would say on the vial or on the vendor site. If no mention of buffered anywhere, then it is not.

@gym.rat Is your rat continuing past 8 weeks on SS-31? I want to start shortly and with lowest dose, reducing NAD+ buf to every other day at 25 instead of 40 daily. No MOTSC for a while. Love my NAD+buf and never had a sting from it; I dilute it pretty well.
@swollstreetbets On special, 1000mg, NAD+buffered, $55 single vial or kits lower, S1research.net
Got the SS-31 there too. They also have MOTSC but haven't done price comparisons. -

The clinical trials ran it for a long ass time, like a year or so and at big doses. Safety profile is really good. That said no reason to waste product if you don't need it. If you are middle age and a bit run down from stress and things over the years, 6-8 weeks is fine. Lots of damage and lets say rough drug or alcohol abuse or serious mitochondrial issues, then go longer. One thing I tell people is that if you got nothing from Mots or NAD, run the SS-31 repair first. People often come back to me and they are like wow now the Mots is really working. So all 3 peps go together like a venn diagram.
I like NAD+ as needed or roughly 2-3x a week. MOTS-c def 3x a week like a M-W-F. SS-31 you can run daily or 5x a week which is my personal preference.

@gym.rat Thanks much. I'm aiming for 8 wks, but if part of vial is left over, it's going until empty. Will give it a break then
start MOTSC. (Meant continue NAD+ full load as before)@Eleanor Yep, always use until empty. No arguments here. Good luck in your research. Some report not feeling or noticing anything as this is one of those peps that works in the background. I've also collected user reports of feeling lethargic the first 3-7 days and then after that you get a little energy pickup. Nothing like Mots or NAD, but its palpable.
Also, run them together. Did you read the full write up on SS-31? If not, go back and do that. Important stuff on overlapping SS-31 with MOTS-c.

Before you do SS-31. I would advice MOTSC and NAD as a base line to see how you respond. If you still feel weak.Then I would try the SS-31 along with the two. Or do all of them like I did just in case. That is if you dont have the means for blood work with someone who knows how to read it. You will definitely feel MOTSC if it isna good source. *This cute Asian girl talked into buying a kit and it was a little weak like my trust.
