Gensupen 2

Has anyone used the gensupen 2 and if so could you use standard 3ml vials?

@mikepinkerton
I had them (I bought 6 of them from Poland) 5 out of 6 of then had problems. They get stuck. But to answer your question, yes they use a standard 3ml cartridge, but they are very picky with cartridges and stick a lot of the times. -
@commander sounds like my Gansulin pens. When they’re working, they’re amazing. When they aren’t, it’s an exercise in frustration. Maybe I will start selling lubed cartridges.

@ResearchCat not a fan of of the gansulin too finicky and they inject to fast imo. V4 is my favorite even over the xulin

@stevepep I’ve injected up to 40 units with a Gansulin that is running well and had no problems. I prefer the ones that ‘tick’ and not the ones that just pop. Not sure if that is an affectation of the pen or a glitch. WRT dispensing speed, my Repatha pen blasts 1ml in about 2 seconds, and leaves a welt for 3 days. But yeah, when they aren’t running right, it sucks.
-
I have not tested this, but I believe different peptides have different lubricity characteristics, depending on filler used, and/or the peptide itself. I’ve had quality cartridges(from the same supplier and batch) behave differently in the same pen. GHK seems to be a challenge for most pens, once I mix it into GLOW/KLOW, it pushes much smoother through the pen.

@ResearchCat What gauge are you using on the Gansulin? I like 32 or above, typically use .33 on my other pens. Of course, I didn't read the whole description, which says @randy recommends 30g or larger. That could be why they are so finicky. I gave mine to a friend, and he gave it back, so I may try the larger size and see if that helps.
-
I use 32gx 4mm or 6mm. Next time I will try a larger gauge and see if that works better. Won’t be til September, probably.

@EXTROPIAN I find the mechanism better on V4, it's smoother and sturdier, but I still use the V2's on occasion. I actually travel with my V2's, so if they get confiscated, I will feel a little better about it. I don't think it's worth the upgrade though, to be honest with you.
-
@Stevepep What would be the difference between the v4 vs the V2. Worth the upgrade?
Just had both delivered. Tried both and completely agree. The V4 has a better and smoother feel. Also the V4 hides the needle which is interesting.

I just got my first V4s and I can't inject with the concealable cap on. Same needles as I've been using with my V2 for months. Here's the link to needles I bought 3 months ago. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DSTYW1TP?th=1 Is there a trick I'm not aware of? The springy cap is hitting something and not allowing the needle to protrude fully. Only 1-2mm or so and on an angle. Any ideas? Quite disappointed with the 1st experience, I must say.

I started using V4s this week and have had an issue myself. Not that the cap doesn't depress but not getting depth with the needle length. I bought 4mm. I've just been taking that cap off to expose the whole tip. Don't want to waste what I have but would buy longer tips in the future.

@genel they don't work with the gluco care PLUS that fat flat base. It stops the spring from fully depressing.

@Nuncles Do you use it with the cap on? I find that to be pain so never use it. I just leave the cap off

Agreed. Mine are 6mm, but spring-cover was hitting the outer edge of the needle housing. Got different box of needles. This https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0GFW5DFY4?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title seems to be a good fit.
