If you're new to TRT you might want to consider telehealth at least until you're sure how the TRT is impacting your body. I used matrix reformed. Of course UGL will always be cheaper but you need to know what you're doing with UGL with respect to dosing and bloodwork.

@bangkokiscool Absolutely agreed. When you first start you’re gonna want to see bloodwork every few weeks to see how you’re body is reacting so you can adjust dose as necessary.

@researchcat didn’t you use to do HIMS or something similar? What did that run?

@MyB Just to throw a data point out there, I talked to my cardiologist yesterday and to my surprise, she greenlit adding TRT or enclomiphene ‘to bring me to natural replacement levels.’ I thought she was going to poo-poo anything of the sort, but she seemed fine with both low dose tadalafil and TRT, as long as I am not taking too much - which she didn’t quantify.

Aside from making me take statins, I might actually like this new doctor. She wants one more test and then doesn’t want to talk to me again until a new med for LP(a) is available.

Please set a funny and sarcastic signature line. It brings me joy. Thank you for your attention in this matter.

@HockeyRat I had my intake appointment this week and signed up with AlphaMD. Surprisingly, they don’t want new lab work for 90 days. He set me on Test. Cyp. At 140mg a week, split into 70mg doses.

I’m genuinely interested to see how the next 3 months goes.

I liked the split dosing weekly but unfortunately my levels had gotten way too high. An example of why I will also suggest regular bloodwork. My PCP told me to inject every 10 days instead of reducing the dosage. I didn't disagree because less injections were appealing to me at that point. I guess it works OK but the the spilt dosing kept the levels more consistent.

Also, just an FYI, if you end up going with a PCP and insurance, the 200mg/mL is less expensive and easier to get from pharmacies than 100mg/mL. I pay about $1.77/dose but I do recognize that the cost varies by insurance coverage.

@Nuncles Im not really sure what they will send me yet. AlphaMD provides everything but the blood work for their monthly fee. I will eventually go with another path, but I will use them for the first 6 months.

@JtCjEfF Within the first 3-4 weeks you should notice big changes. I would recommend doing a little research into it but if you can stand doing daily injections I think you’ll get better results with less possible side effects.

My doctor started me injecting once a week but I didnt like the troughs. I changed it to every other day. I like it better. I inject GHK-cu and KPV daily now, one more pen is not going to make much difference.

@falc I started with a 31g, same ones I use for peps, but DAMN that took for ever to pick up. Still not doing a harpoon, but went to a 29g and it's definitely faster.
