@Nuncles - yep. 5:1 ratio GHK-Cu to KPV which works great for me. Some folks go 5:2. Here is a good video on how to blend them into a single vial/cart.

Thanks. That's the exact video I used. Just had a discussion on their TG that this ratio is just as painful to me as the watered down GHK-CU. I will try upping the KPV in the ratio.

@Eleanor Yep - Ordered last week after reading this thread. Should be here mid week and I'll be ready to make a new MOTS just at the right time, but it'll be another week before I make SS-31 or NAD. All the discussion about buffered vs unbuffered NAD just got me questioning. I'm happy to sacrifice a NAD vial to check if it'll reduce sting, but would love to hear about it before it's time to try. Many thanks in advance!

It works on SS31, MOTS and on NAD+ buffered; I don't know about NAD unbuffed. reconned them all & works well.

@Eleanor Game changer for me and a case of Hospira NACL Bac is $100 at Medex. Someone can explain why it's $285 for Hospira BAC without the addition of NACL.

I just found it for $110. Wonder what the exp date is. Going to get me some anyway. Thank you!

@stevepep Nice find, thank you! Shipping not even $16; put some pep vendors to shame! Tax, shipping, product total $136.59 = ~5.12 per 30ml bottle. I'll frickin take it...and did.

Not sure I want to try it on Survo or Cagri, will see.

@stevepep I should probably put this under vials, and I will, but since I mix 2000+mg NAD at a time, I like this price and they sound sterile, much like Ultra Spec. $9.99 shipping for box of 25.

Has anyone tried this with glutathione yet?

I grabbed a pack for us to do some "science".

I'd suspect glutathione should be good to go since it's added to saline drips/I.V.'s

I use it with NAD Buffered, SS31, and Mots-C, and it's a game changer in terms of any reaction. I don't really have a reaction to anything else, so I don't see the need, other than the fact that Hospira BAC with NACL is 1/3 the price, which of course makes zero sense.

you were right i ran the list gemini to check it out

Evaluating every compound shown in the image against standard biochemical reconstitution guidelines:

Section 1: "Best With Bacteriostatic Saline" (Green Box)

                            • Semaglutide: Incorrect. Semaglutide is sensitive to salt-induced aggregation over extended storage. BAC water is preferred.
                            • Tirzepatide: Incorrect. High susceptibility to precipitation and cloudiness when exposed to sodium chloride.
                            • MOTS-c: Partially Correct. Tolerates saline reasonably well, but BAC water is still standard.
                            • SS-31 (Elamipretide): Partially Correct. SS-31 is compatible with saline for short-term use, though standard BAC water remains preferred to prevent premature degradation. (Note: Image lists this twice).
                            • Thymosin Alpha-1 (\text{TA1}): Incorrect. Standard protocols universally call for BAC water. Saline alters the charge distribution of the peptide chain unnecessarily.
                            • Thymalin: Incorrect. Similar to TA1, it requires plain BAC water.
                            • BPC-157: Accurate. BPC-157 is extremely stable and generally handles saline well without precipitating.
                            • TB-500 / TB4: Accurate. Robust peptide that remains stable in saline.
                            • GHRP-2 & GHRP-6: Incorrect. Growth hormone-releasing peptides perform far better in plain BAC water; salt can destabilize their structure over time.
                            • Selank & Semax: Incorrect. As short-chain neuropeptides often used intranasally or subcutaneously, adding sodium chloride increases local stinging/irritation and speeds up solution breakdown.
                            • PT-141: Incorrect. Susceptible to salting-out effects over multi-week storage.
                            • AOD-9604: Gross Error. Image lists it under "Best Choice" while placing a red "Avoid" dot next to it. Chemically, AOD-9604 is notorious for turning into a thick gel in saline.

Section 2: "Acceptable But Not Ideal" (Yellow Box)

                            • hCG: Incorrect. Reconstituting hCG in saline can cause premature hormone subunit dissociation. BAC water or specialized liquid diluent is mandatory.
                            • Epitalon: Incorrect. Extremely robust short-chain tetrapeptide. If anything, it is one of the few peptides that handles saline fine, making its placement here illogical.
                            • GHK-Cu / QHK-Cu: Partially Correct. Copper peptides tolerate saline fine for specific topical formulations, but for reconstituted vials, BAC water avoids unnecessary ionization. (Note: Image lists GHK-Cu twice).
                            • Tesamorelin: Major Error. Tesamorelin is highly salt-sensitive and rapidly gels when exposed to sodium chloride. It belongs strictly in a "Do Not Use Saline" category.
                            • DSIP: Incorrect. Sleep-inducing peptide that performs best in non-saline BAC water to avoid nasal/subcutaneous stinging.
                            • 5-Amino-1MQ: Incorrect. This is a small-molecule NNMT inhibitor, not a standard peptide. It requires organic solvents (like DMSO) or specific solubilizers depending on formulation—saline alone will not dissolve pure raw 5-Amino-1MQ.

Section 3: "Avoid Bacteriostatic Saline" (Red Box)

                            • LL-37: Partially Correct. Antimicrobial peptides like LL-37 are prone to folding changes in salt environments. Standard BAC water is required.
                            • Vasopressin: Accurate. Highly sensitive cyclic peptide; sodium chloride affects its tonicity and structural binding integrity.

Section 4: Text Claims & Visual Errors

                            • Claim: "Reduced Injection Irritation": False. Subcutaneous injections of small amounts (0.1\text{–}0.3\text{ mL}) of plain BAC water do not cause noticeable tonicity stinging. Injecting degraded or precipitated peptide-saline mixtures causes far worse injection site reactions.
                            • Claim: "Bottom Line: ~65% of Peptides Are Suited for Bacteriostatic Saline": False. In practical peptide research, less than 10% of freeze-dried peptides benefit from saline over plain BAC water. Plain bacteriostatic water remains the single safest solvent across the board.

So basically NAD, SS31 & Mots C? Shit. Should have looked into this further before I bought a case.

I'll do that right now, here you go

                                  Compatible (Good with Bacteriostatic Saline)

⚬ BPC-157 & TB-500 (TB4): Extremely stable and robust peptides that handle saline well without precipitating.
⚬ Epitalon & KPV: Very short-chain peptides that are highly robust and generally unaffected by saline.
⚬ GHK-Cu, QHK-Cu, & AHK-Cu: Copper peptides tolerate saline well and are often used with it for specific topical applications.
⚬ MOTS-c: Typically handles sodium chloride environments without issue.
⚬ Ipamorelin: One of the few growth hormone-releasing peptides somewhat tolerant of saline.
⚬ SS-31 (Elamipretide): Compatible for short-term use, though plain bacteriostatic water remains preferred for long-term storage.

Incompatible or High Risk (Avoid Bacteriostatic Saline)

⚬ Retatrutide: Consistently clouds or fails entirely when reconstituted with saline.
⚬ Tesamorelin: Highly salt-sensitive and notoriously prone to rapidly turning into a solid gel.
⚬ AOD-9604: Possesses a fragile solubility profile and will frequently gel or clump in saline.
⚬ Tirzepatide & Semaglutide: Saline introduces a notable risk of destabilization, cloudiness, and precipitation over extended storage.
⚬ NAD+: Highly sensitive to the pH and ionic changes introduced by sodium chloride.
⚬ HGH (Human Growth Hormone): Large, fragile chains are sensitive to aggregation from salt.
⚬ Thymosin Alpha-1 ($\text{TA1}$) & Thymalin: Saline alters their charge distribution unnecessarily.
⚬ GHRP-2 & GHRP-6: Salt can destabilize their structure over time compared to plain bacteriostatic water.
⚬ Selank, Semax, & DSIP: Adding sodium chloride increases local irritation and speeds up solution breakdown.
                                  ⚬ PT-141: Susceptible to salting-out effects over multi-week storage.
⚬ LL-37 & Vasopressin: Highly susceptible to structural changes and tonicity issues from sodium chloride.
⚬ hCG: Reconstituting in saline can cause premature hormone subunit dissociation.
⚬ 5-Amino-1MQ: Requires specialized organic solvents, not standard saline.
⚬ Multi-Peptide Blends: Highly susceptible to cross-reaction, gelling, or precipitation when salt is introduced.

I bought a case too, should’ve looked into it more. Only wrecked 2 bottles of Tesa 20mg and 1 of Ipa, so not too bad of a loss…

you were right i ran the list gemini to check it out

@MikeMiranda ask any compounding pharmacy and most will tell you they use NACL for Trizepitide and Semiglutude it’s actually the recommended protocol This is the reason AI is drivel when it comes to peptides it’s essentially useless. It aggregates information and if the information is garbage it spits it out as fact.

Zepbound itself contains NACL. The FDA still allowed them to label it no preservative. That alone shows you what crap AI spits out
