I started writing a small post on another thread and this just kept getting longer. Hope this can inspire someone at any point on their journey.

10 years ago I was 387 pounds. Addicted. Depressed. Self centered and miserable. Something needed to change but it didnt. Atleast not for another 3 years.

7 years ago I kicked the drugs and alcohol. In the 4 years after that my weight continued fluctuating between 260 and 330 pounds.

3 years ago I decided to get serious about my health. To do so I was going to have to deal with my first and most insidious addiction. Food. I decided to try Tirzepitide at the urging of my doctor and for the first time in my life the food noise quieted. I was able to hit calorie goals and after a ton of research I knew I had to resistance train. I have now been training for 3 years.

This March I was down to 235 pounds and after a 4 month break from Tirzepitide I started Reta. I just hit 200 pounds. I cant believe it.

So what were the last 3 years like? Every pound lost along this journey my feet and back hurt less. I had more energy. I was eating better so I decided why not compound that by walking and moving. That led to more weight lost. Every thing I read and all the videos that I watched stressed the need to resistance train. So I wondered what would happen if I added that too. Turns out. Everything. Everything would happen. Weight loss acceleration. Strength increase. Visceral fat loss. I had a 46 inch waist. Im down to a 32.

Once I had some small succeesses I wanted more. Each goal achieved built on the next. The GLPs gave me the reduction in food noise and calorie restriction. The food tracking gave me the data and discipline. The walking raised my TDEE. Now Im even doing some running. 3-5 days a week Im lifting weights. Tracking every workout. Progressive over load. Deload. Run it again. I have never been in better shape. Better health or happier. Im living a life beyond my wildest dreams.

If you are starting a journey or are in the middle of one I have a challenge for you. What if you did everything. Everything you know you should do and really want to do but haven't.

You tracked what your eating and hit your daily calorie target. Hit that elusive protein goal. Went to the gym consistently. Hit your daily step goal. Figured out how to sleep more and consistently. Drank water. Maybe even a peptide or 10. Lol

What if you did that? What would future you think in 30 days, 6 months or 3 years?

245 pounds in December, 43 years old. A friend mentioned casually he uses testosterone cream, about my age roughly. Down the rabbit hole I go. A few weeks later I'm on trt. Trt provider offers semaglutide. Onto sema I go. Itchy af for a week, and complete appetite destruction. January- down about 20 pounds. Swap to tirzepatide. No sides, weight falling off. YouTube kicks in with the content after searching tirz a few times. Late February, I find tesamorelin through a compounder. This was the beginning of the end for fat me. About 3 weeks into tesa, and I've dropped from a 36w to a 34w, started the journey at 38w, so we are rolling now. Come march, I discover ruo. Light speed body recomp engaged. Grab some ipa to add to my tesa, ss31, mots. Swap tirz for reta. I am now shedding weight so fast that I would come back my 3 days off looking different enough for coworkers to notice. By late April im at 190, the floor for my adult weight range. Every time id hit 190 in a cut, id flame out, and have fall off the wagon. Not this time, we still got plenty of gas in the tank. Come May, down to a 32" waist, weight in the 180's. Steady on the reta/tes-ipa/trt protocol, running mots/5amino on workout and hockey days. Total victory achieved by all metrics, but... theres still gas in the tank. Push reta to 4mg, push the gym even harder. Add slupp915 and atx304. Early June, 170's. Im now at the point of being below my weight in high school. Still gas in the tank. Reta to 6mg. Trt to my generously prescribed dose of 250/wk. Tesa to a full 2mg. Every day, waking up in the best shape of my life. In June I get shadow kicked out of a hockey division I had played in for years because nobody could score on me anymore. Early August - i hit 159.5 on the scale on a fast. Present day - im comfortably in the low 160's, 29-30" waist depending on the pants. My power to weight ratio has never been this good in my life. My physique has never been as good as it is now. Between gym work and trt/gh upregulation, kept a good amount of lean mass. Wednesday, playing a hockey game as a substitute for someone I played for while I was big, and I get hit with "holy shit dude, you are shredded"
First time in my life the s word has been used in reference to my body.
2026 has been one hell of a year.

This is amazing and so inspiring. Thank you so much for sharing it. I have Tesa on the back burner. Getting some blood work done then Im starting that. Time for a new goal and to lock in on the next phase. Looking for that "holy shit dude, you are shredded" moment. 2026 was epic for real. Im also in my 40s and so happy we both made this turn around now. Future is looking bright my friend.

I posted this on another thread but here its is...My buddy….Lets call him “Sam” started trying Sermorelin about a year and a half ago. He originally went to a local men’s health clinic to get his testosterone checked because he was in his late 40s and wanted to better understand where things stood. His testosterone came back naturally around 750, which was solid, so he didn’t fill like testosterone was the best fit. From there, the clinic brought up peptides as another option, and Sam decided to look into it and give it a try.
He started with a 16-week cycle of Sermorelin and noticed that some of his everyday aches and pains improved. He also dropped some weight, felt better overall, and added a little muscle. It was not an overnight change, but it was enough that he felt like he was moving in the right direction. Sam has always enjoyed lifting, but staying consistent was the biggest challenge. Once he became more comfortable with peptides, he started researching other options, including IPA/CJC. The clinic didn’t offer that so that when Sam when out on his own.
In Sam’s experience, IPA/CJC made the biggest difference for weight loss and muscle retention. He noticed continued progress with his weight and a visible improvement in muscle mass. That said, he still felt Sermorelin helped more with aches and pains. As he continued learning and getting more comfortable, he eventually added reta into the mix. Over about eight months, along with focusing on protein, staying in a calorie deficit, and doing resistance training three days a week, he went from 230 pounds down to 180.
One of the biggest benefits for Sam was being able to limit muscle loss while cutting, even though some muscle loss is expected anytime someone loses a significant amount of weight. Overall, he looks better, feels better, and seems more active. He would not say it made him feel like a completely different person, but he does feel noticeably better than he did before. He still has normal aches and pains, but mentally he seems to be in a better place, and feeling better about himself has made a real difference.
Sam recently finished his second overall cycle of IPA/CJC and is taking a four-week break before starting again. Based on his experience, he feels it has been a game changer for him and its his go to blend, but he would also tell anyone interested to do their research and make sure it is the right fit for them. His sister had asked him about it, but because she has a history of skin cancer, he recommended that she look into other options. Sam still says Sermorelin is a great first peptide to consider for anyone interested in learning more about peptides.

@steiny thanks so much for sharing "Sam's" story. Its so great to hear the major improvements in people's health and lives. CJC is another on my radar. Appreciate you sharing Sam's experience with it.
