I reconstituted one of my CJC no day/Ipa vials yesterday and after about 10 minutes I loaded it into a cartridge and put it in my pen. It looked fine. When i pulled it out tonight it was cloudy?

Has anyone ever had a vial turn like that in a day?

@jackiee are you sure its cloudy in the vial and not humidity inside the plastic cover of the pen that list the ml’s and on the glass tube…I have had my eyes play tricks on my when I take it out of the fridge with the pen and humidity. Just a thought.

Maybe? I’ve never had that happen or thought about it. How do I find out? Leave it out for a bit?

@jackiee unfortunately it looks like it’s cloudy. Randy and the community always states if it cloudy do not use no exceptions. question 1.what did you use to reconstitute it?

EZ Peptides and I used Hospira. The same bottle I used two days ago on Reta for my hubby’s rat. I emailed them

Okay, this morning I reconstituted the second vial and I opened up a new Hospira. It’s hard to tell in the vial, because the label goes almost all the way around. It looks cloudy, too. Not as cloudy as the other vial, but it isn’t clear

@jackiee How much bac are you using it looks like very little. Try 3ml for CJC/IPA the dose is low and then see what happens. Also, why is the plunger so far up on the pen vial?

I’m assuming the plunger is up because there are only two mLs in the cartridge, and she purged the air.

I’m in the habit of using 3mL for recon, unless I have a good reason not to. What is the batch# on that? I have a vial from AMP that is possibly from the same batch.

I used 2ML BAC water and Ibpurged the air when O loaded the pen. It wasn’t cloudy then. If it was, I didn’t notice it. It certainly wasn’t as cloudy as it is now

The newest vial is getting cloudier as it sits

I added 1ML more and will let it sit for awhile.

This is how I came up with the dosage: https://community.peptidecritic.com/topic/2780/blend-reconstitution-questions

I had never used a pre-mixed blend before and I wanated to make sure that I did the calculations correctly.

I added 1ML BAC water and let it sit for over an hour. It is still cloudy.

@jackiee yeah, it’s a bummer …are both of them from the same batch? EZ has a pretty good reputation on here from what I see and I’ve ordered from them before and never had the issue. Let’s see how they respond. Sounds like you did it all right, I always reconstitute my Cjc/ipa with 2 ML as well. I actually reconstituted two different peptides from a different vendor yesterday so I looked at them this morning to see if they were cloudy lol but thank goodness your bad luck did not get passed on to me! In the peptide world it’s not if this happens to you but how many times it happens to you. It’s a good thing you know to ask the questions and be safe about it.

EZ Peptides said that they reconstituted a vial from the same batch and it was fine. They gave me a store credit, and i can’t ask for more than that. I have no idea what went wrong.

Are you sure your Hospira water is not counterfeit? Was it and the powder warmed to the room temperature before reconstitution?

I’m sure the Hospira is legit. Came from Peptidetest.com. I used it in my GHK-cu, my hubby’s Reta and my son’s Tirz. Then I used a new bottle for the second vial. I know EZ is legit and I trust them. They did right by me. I have no idea what went wrong

@Steiny Why 2ml? The dose is going to be so low, especially if you are using a pen.
