FDA approves Tirzepatide to reduce heart attacks/strokes

Lily?
Fuck Lily - I give my money to a Chinese geisha girl.
My doctor was not happy when I told them that yes, I trust Jenny on TG more than I trust someone trying to prescribe Clomid.
One day I will muster enough courage to come clean to my PCP and tell my entire stack. She's still under a sweet misconception that I'm on branded T and ONLY on that, and I have not busted that bubble YET. LOL
I need some tweaking to clean up some of my blood markers. Hopefully it happens in the next few months, and then I might tell her — it was these UNSAFE products that did the magic.

@pep_researcher Yeah, my PCP doesn’t like GLP-1’s, and neither does most of my family. They’re all in the 90%, maybe 80% now, waiting for the bomb to drop and everyone on peptides to turn into zombies.

@ResearchCat LOL sounds familiar. Got a couple friends who are overweight, older, juggling diabetes/statins/BP meds — the whole conventional cocktail. I've been open when I started on branded T since day one, told them to ask me anything. Instead they took advice from some pharma guy who's never touched GLP-1s himself and isn't even involved in medical research, who scared them off saying it 'alters your brain.'
Wanted to say... yeah, it does alter your brain, for the BETTER. You just won't know that because your brain's already closed off to the idea of changing for the better. One of them literally said they want to keep enjoying their food noise and cravings calling themselves 'foodie'.

And since they were averse to try even the gold standard FDA approved stuff, didn't venture telling them about my RUO research. They might faint or consider me a lunatic.

@ResearchCat only one truly open-minded darling friend, who took all the tips from me including vetted vendors, and jumped from buying self-pay branded T to Reta research and even built a stack faster than me. I took tips from his research and upgraded my stacks.

@pep_researcher everything alters your brain. All new information hooks to your associative neural chains. Reading this post up to this point has already changed your brain forever.

LOL true. I like that take. Kindaa like Heisenberg Uncertainty Principle — as soon as you observe something it's changed due to sheer observation.

The other day I came across a young lady in her mid 20s and in the beggining of a metabolic crisis. Well groomed yet pulling her top down to cover her belly. I asked her if she knew about peptides. She knew what reta was. This pontificator said "But is it FDA approved?". I replied "no" and let it go. I walked away with the same answer to myself "Look at what the FDA has done to you". Peptides are huge catch-22 and most of us dove in faith first through a needle out of desperation from a failed "manage decline"
medical system. If it wasn't for these peptides I would be increading more stimulants and depressants just to keep me going. My collection of peptides are right up there with all my supplements and emergency medical kit. I am a 55yo with a very young family and aging parents that need me. These peptides are doing what most today consider impossible. -

It's insulting, their health is not your business and comes across as "join my cult".
If its a close friend or family member its a different story but still something that should be handled in a gentle manner out of pure love.

@BeeKind Oh I was Bee'n kind and we spoken before. It was one example of those who throw the fda badge around. My brother for example (another one) who is on statins and using someones ozempic because he was dianosed diabetics and constantly told me to test myself with a ridiculous highly refined, pure glucose tolerance test of 50-100mg. Not just sugar which has fruitose and glucose but pure glucose. Who eats like this? Well most Americans. Mind you, hisnwife is diebetic as well and loves to bake. Solution, here is some meds to tolerate them highly refined foods. All you have to do it stop eating it, that simple. Stop eating the 'slop. Now add a leaky gut bypassing your gut innate immune system? It start to cause havoc when it goes into your circulary system along with all them pathogens and toxins. You bodies is on constant damage control, mitochondria taxed and wonder why they dont have any energy to move like they use to. Now your organs are about the only thing pushing what ever ATP left to keep you alive, eventually over work, un repaired, back-up trying to keep up. Here are more meds. What do you think is going to happen? I digress. This young lady will be on GLP eventually. Today's 'slop was design to be addictive and designed obsolescence to bleed you on your way down.

@ResearchCat asking for a friend, who is jenny on TG? maybe she can give my rat better deals

Sometimes we just have to accept that we can't help everyone. You can only lead a horse to water but you can't make it drink.

@eurouser Most people still trust the authorities, at least to some degree, and most of them aren’t going down the same rabbit holes that the self-selected population on this forum have.
It’s entirely reasonable to expect people to trust the FDA and authorities despite or because of COVID or other things, because they think everything was done with their best interest in mind. You may think that is preposterous and that is okay.
Pick any issue, and you’re going to find about half the people blindly follow the conventional wisdom, another 30-40% are opposed to it, and the rest either don’t care or think there is a conspiracy to put peptides in the marshmallows in your Lucky Charms.

@ResearchCat thats a fair argument for sure and i agree with your percentages. One thing i would say though just to clarify where i am coming from is that I noticed in recent years, especially due to covid, that even the people who used to be "the most" hardcore believers in authority, started to wake up to the big pharma/FDA/etc scam. I am talking people who would run away for 10 miles if they hear the word "conspiracy" and yet, they still started thinking "hey, maybe i should look at other sources for information to make a better informed decision about my health".
That's why i kind of have a higher standard now days in terms of dismissing someone completely if see that they still have so much trust in the above mentioned industries. -

@eurouser the way I see it we all share a degree of dumb. Some are more or less. I use to get irritated by dumber people than me. Now I just consider myself a catalyst. I may not have all the answers but I just pay it forward. If I ever get checked, I learn. You can't save them all. That's the reason I took it to this extreme, not only reversing my personal crisis but to also live by example. Practice what you preach. Many close to me see my health emprove significantly and are asking question. Most who do listen still can't get passed the estigma of the needle. Even i am going through what one here called "needle fatigue".

A meta level view of this, from Arthur Brooks’ podcast this week(about faith) is that people generally resist changing their convictions because doing so makes them feel like they are wrong or a bad person. If you have spent your whole life believing ‘Science is Real’, then it is very difficult to publicly or privately acknowledge that just maybe you placed your trust and belief in the wrong people or things. It is even more difficult when your entire social existence is predicated on sharing the same views and beliefs as your friends without tolerance for deviation.

@ResearchCat you know as of science it is true for religion. Many neglect the politics, special interest and the monetary value to the equation to an ever changing new evidenced, changing context, perspectives. It just gets complicated and many just surrender and pick a side. lol The best advice I was ever told as a manager was "Estropian, you just have to figure out how to get along." I failed (fired) because I was about to kick the living "beep" of a employee who threatened me. lol
