Newbie question about pt141 and oxytocin
-
I have a question about oxytocin for my female rat. Is there anyone that can help me with dosing and stacking with pt141 instructions?
-
I would research Vyleesi and see what the name brand ranges they dose at. I think it’s 1.75mg incidentally but that is likely too high to try.
Perhaps half that or less and see how it’s tolerated. I’ve heard some rough stories that it causes awful sides like nausea headaches vomiting. But who knows what kind of dosing they did.
I’m interested to see how it improves refractory rates in men.

I've researched oxytocin at 100mcg from a nasal spray. A 10mg vial made 2 10ml nasal spray bottles containing 5mg's each giving roughly 50mcg's a spray if each spray is 10iu's. For pt141 I research up to a mg never more, my hog likes them both but doesn't tolerate more than 1mg pt

@jennifermcbride As others have said, the available data says 1.75mg but everything Ive reads says thats too high. Everything Ive read says to start at about 0.5mg and judge tolerance. Ive also heard you should expect the first dose to be the least "fun", typically involving nausea in ~40% of people on first dose.
Check out Dr Debra Durst on YT, she has some good useful info on PT-141. -
Thanks for the info, I'm not sure what we will try yet. I will post back when I've got some research data.

As much as some will disagree, Oxytocin has a systemic effect, nothing like PT. It also depends on your endogenous oxytocin production. The less you have, the more you’ll notice a difference. If your body is already producing it at a reasonable rate, you won’t see much of a difference. PT, on the other hand, most will feel pretty well. But it’s a delicate balance between nausea for the first couple of hours, and desired effect. Dosage is key, and I found nasal PT to be lacking.

@Snake-Pepskin very much agree, I feel oxytocin in a subtle way. It can lower cortisol levels which can be hard to feel. Oxytocin nasal spray has been used for autism also. I also don't like the pt in nasal form
