    Just curious if anyone has any insights on this. I imagine SOME amount of peptide is lost during the filtering process- but perhaps the amount is usually completely trivial. AI agents seem to bring up the hydrophobic quality of some peptides can cause them to bind to the filter materials, is this just slop?

      And as a follow up - im not talking about if any total mass is lost, I understand if you don't flush the filter with bac water, a certain amount will be "trapped" in there. I'm talking about how much the dilution gets lowered- ie how much mg per ml

        The AI is mostly wrong. The amount of loss (sticking to the filter) Isnt measurable. You arent losing enough mass (mg/ml) for it to matter.

          @randy Thanks for the reply! And that's kind of what I assumed. Just curious, how did you come to that conclusion? Is this just something you learned by talking to lab workers / researchers?

            A lab owner I'm friends with who's much smarter than I am did the testing to debunk any of that.
