  • Puratek Peptides User Review: Great Peptides but both credit cards I used were stolen afterwards
    P Puratekpeptides

@SoySebastian Hey! Tony with Puratek here. I really appreciate you jumping in and sharing your thoughts on this! Just wanted to share a quick behind the scenes look to help clear things up, as I know credit card security is stressful for everyone and something I take very seriously.
The orders processed by the original reviewer actually went through two different payment processors, with one being Square and the other being ByteNFT. Both of which are very secure, reputable processors. Since those are entirely separate platforms, it makes it super unlikely for a single site to be tied to both, especially with the strict security measures I keep running on the backend here.
We have safely processed over 18,000 orders at this point, and if there was ever an issue on our end, or with the processors we're using, we would definitely see it pop up across multiple accounts rather than just a one off report.
Always appreciate any input from the community, and my inbox is always open if you or anyone else ever has any questions or concerns. Always looking to improve!

Hi Bryan, Tony here from Puratek. Thanks for the feedback and for mentioning the product quality. I do want to address the payment security part directly, as I take these concerns very seriously.
With a background in information security, I personally manage the backend here and keep our setup completely locked down. Anyone is welcome to run a quick check on our site using free online SSL tools to verify our current encryption ranking. We also maintain an active firewall and run two separate third party security services monitoring the site around the clock. Most importantly, card info is never stored on our servers, as everything goes through trusted third party payment processors.
Credit card details can easily be compromised through many different vectors completely outside a merchants control, such as malware or public Wi Fi networks, compromised browser extensions, phishing scams, or data breaches at completely unrelated online stores where you might have used that card previously. Because of this, it is unfair to assume the breach originated here.
If you would like to discuss the security architecture in more detail, feel free to reach out to support at [email protected].

  • Puratek Peptides User Review: Good products. Shady payment process.
    P Puratekpeptides

Hi everyone, this is Tony from Puratek. Wanted to jump in and clarify some things around the payment process, since it seems like there's been some confusion.

We've never required ID or facial verification for standard orders. Throughout this whole period we've had a traditional payment option available, it was PayPal originally, and we've recently transitioned to a different processor that works the same standard way. Either way, it's a normal checkout: no photos, no extra steps, just a regular card payment you would encounter on any site.
The verification a few of you ran into only applies if you choose the ByteNFT option at checkout. That payment method settles on the back end through cryptocurrency, and because of that, it falls under KYC (Know Your Customer) regulations, which legally require identity verification for crypto settled transactions in some, not all cases. It's not something we added arbitrarily, it comes with the territory of offering that payment rail. If you'd rather avoid that process altogether, the traditional option skips it entirely.

I understand why this looked concerning if it wasn't clear which option was selected or why one method asked for more than another. That's on us for not communicating it more clearly at checkout, and it's something we're actively improving. We've also been refining the ByteNFT flow to make it smoother for those who do prefer it. To be clear: no one has ever been required to submit ID to order from us. That requirement has only ever been tied to specific transactions when choosing the crypto settled option, and there has always been a standard payment method available that doesn't involve any of that.

Glad to answer questions here, or feel free to call the number listed on our site, always happy to address any questions or concerns.
