It's my understanding that in order for a pharmaceutical company to get a patent it cannot be totally natural to the human body. Therefore they must change one molecule. Hence side effects.
Based on that these are "peptide like"drugs. So I would conclude they're not truly a peptide.
If anybody knows otherwise I would love to hear the explanation why these could be called true peptides.
