OK, good to know that the buffered helps with the sting that much. I have a kit of 1000mg buffered coming from Crush, so I will plan to recon that at a normal amount for dose/units then. Are y'all using normal bac water, or the sodium chloride version?

@JtCjEfF I always use more BAC than needed, regardless of what the pep is. I use Randy's recon tool and will get it to as close to a number ending in '5' as possible; generally between 20 and 60 units (for syringe). If you're using a pin, IDK what the numbers are.

@JtCjEfF Regular BAC water, just dilute your vial. I've done 2ml and 3ml for 500mg vials. I think I like 3ml better.

I'll BAC as many as 5ml because of the higher unit, the syringe pulls/pushes better, IMO.

Is that why I see a lot of places give the option for 500mg and 1000mg? Is the 500 supposed to sting less? And what size vials do 500mg normally come in?

@martinmarin My in home female lab rat started on unbuffered and I moved her over to buffered. Pretty big difference in pain. Plus the buffered is a bit stronger and it lasts longer. NAD+ is one of the peps that degrades rapidly, so once you recon it you better get using it.

@gym.rat Yes i might just blow through them. Up the dose tongauge the difference in this case. They are 100mg vials. But I am in my sweet spot though. Well my ph test strips are in my amazon cart now. Man this is getting expensive. lol

I'm not sure, Nuncles; it's just the amount in the vial; the amount of BAC is still a personal choice. In 500mg I use 5ml BAC, which makes it a 30 unit pull in syringe for 30mg dose. In 1000mg I use up to 10ml for the same 30 dose/units. I like my numbers to line up as the same; saves confusion.

Whether it's BUFFERED is what matters as far as tolerability (sting).

BTW, use an amber vial with NAD+ if you have one. Light protection and makes it last longer.
