Whole pen with vial in fridge?
-
Are you folks that have pens just taking shots straight out of the fridge and suffering through the cold or what’s your method? I’m letting it sit for a few minutes to not be ice cold. I just got my pen like two weeks ago and feel like an idiot everytime it’s time to pin. When I was using normal syringes I would let the dose warm up and not the whole vial. (The pen is awesome! I got the v4 from the shop. Super easy experience and I got a sweet sticker). Anyhow, some insight would be appreciated! Thanks!

I was encouraged by another forum member to try straight form the fridge because I had the same question. Been going straight from the fridge now and have had no issue although I haven’t injected that way above 50 units.
The reason why I decided to do that is because there could be a faster degradation in the peptide by the warming then cooling cycle although if you go through the solution fast enough - it doesn’t matter. I hope it helps.

I pretty much tried both ways to see if letting it warm up at all stopped the bumps or red marks- it did not. Now I am trying different needle lengths to see if that makes a difference.
Also my mini fringe is only getting down to 38-43 degrees, so it isn’t super cold.. -
Peptides that sting like ghk-cu and nad+ I let sit out for about 5-10 minutes. I started doing that after getting site reactions in the thighs with 4mm pen needles. It might've been more of a site specific issue then a temperature issue. I've done Reta out of the fridge with 4mm's in the thigh's with no issues before. Think I'm going to have to test it out tomorrow and inject my ghk right out of the fridge in my abdomen or glute and see how it goes.

Pen or syringe, I inject direct out of the fridge. If it isn’t bothering your research subject, don’t worry about it. If it is bothering, let it warm up. Realistically, if you are finishing the pen or vial within 30 days, for most peps, letting it warm up isn’t going to be a major problem.
