    Hey everyone!

I've been researching for a few weeks now and and am seeing solid progress with the numbers on the scale steadily going down. That's great, but I'd like to get a more detailed picture of what's actually changing — fat loss vs. muscle retention/preservation, measurements, etc, possibly visceral fat changes. etc.

I tried the Hume Body Pod earlier this year hoping it would give me that extra insight, but I was pretty disappointed and ended up returning it. The weight readings were jumping all over the place compared to both my doctor's scale and a good digital scale, and it was actually showing my body fat/mass numbers going up while both scales showed me getting lighter. Not what I was hoping for.

Does anyone have experience in anything I can get at home that can get me close? I'm looking for something that can give more granular data than just scale weight. Or is it more a matter of accepting that home stuff isn't worth the money and I need to pursue DEXA scans instead?

Any recommendations or methods that have worked well for you when trying to track recomp or fat loss while on a stack would be really appreciated.

    Thanks in advance!

My husband uses the Hume band and scale, I just use the scale. We’ve both been happy with the scale. We ordered it with realistic expectations. Is it dexa scan reliable data, no. It is a trackable data point though. When you compare your Hume numbers to Hume numbers it does reliably track for us. The scale is completely read by the app. They had a not so stellar update in April that really put numbers out of wack for a month but it was corrected on the next update.
Sorry your experience wasn’t the same.

Peptides are only as good as your Bac Water

@MyB I'm a little relieved that other people are having better experiences with the scale, and maybe mine was just caught in a bad firmware like you mentioned. I was ready to give it another shot but after reaching out to their support to ask questions I wasn't treated particularly well, so making the choice to return it was much easier.

I guess I'm hoping that maybe there was another option that the community as a whole really enjoys using. If it comes to be that the Hume is the best you can get at home, I'd be tempted to give it another try in the future.

        Thanks your sharing!
