@Eleanor My first vial of SS-31 was with sodium chloride, but on reconning my second I grabbed (by habit) my bac water. So I decided to try it and see how different it would be. Like you said, it really wasn't that different. I would say the irritation was noticeable for about 30 minutes with sodium chloride and about an hour for bac. I will admit though that reconned with twice as much bac as sodium chloride.

@Nuncles I had a similar experience but have not noticed any sort of difference at all.

@jtcjeff NAD+ buf doesn't bother me regardless of the BAC I use, I use a lot of it. Problem solved.

Top 20 Peptides: Reconstitution Compatibility Chart

I converted it to text so it is searchable and easier to discuss. This is a transcription of the chartβ€”not an endorsement or independently verified protocol. Key Used in the Original Graphic

          • 🟒 Safe: Presented as a compatible reconstitution solvent.
          • πŸ”΅ Required/Recommended: The chart specifies diluted 0.6% acetic acid for stability or solubility.
          • 🟑 Caution: The chart generally favors standard BAC water.
          • βšͺ Unnecessary: The chart says this solvent is not needed.
          • πŸ”΄ Avoid: The chart claims the solvent may damage, denature, gel, or precipitate the compound.

          Important Caveat

The word β€œsafe” in the table only reproduces the label used by the original graphic. It should not be interpreted as proof that a preparation is sterile, stable, appropriately preserved, compatible with a particular product, or safe for human use.

Compatibility can depend on the exact formulation, salt form, concentration, pH, excipients, storage temperature, container, intended route, and manufacturer instructions. Bacteriostatic water and bacteriostatic saline are also not interchangeable in every situation.

This post is for research and discussion purposes only and is not medical, prescribing, compounding, or administration advice.

Does anyone have primary-source stability or compatibility data for these entriesβ€”especially AOD9604, Frag 176-191, IGF-1 LR3/DES, GHK-Cu, MOTS-c, and hGH?

@Stevepep just this past Thursday I reconned a 40mg mots-c from southern aminos with saline bac, took 5mg's and had a mild histamine reaction. Pen vial looks fine so far fwiw.

@Stevepep I use it for SS-31 and NAD+buf, with great results and plan to use it on MOTS-C as well.

A site I frequent often, suggests it for all three.

@mrjoshua44 If these guys try to get me on the $9 monthly fee one more time. Jeez, they don't stop. Other than that its great. Also, the nonsense on Amino Research for peptides has me thinking they are somehow involved that doesn't change its a cool resource, though

@mmp I struggle with that because the gloves may be less sanitary than washing your hands

What is the reasoning? The gloves dont come sterile. Are you washing the gloves?
